XPPen Deco Mini7 Wireless, Pen Tablet, Drawing Tablet. 2.4 GHz Wireless Technology

I've been buying these by the half-dozen to hand out to teachers and employees. For remote whiteboarding, online teaching, online learning, note taking, etc. THIS is the unit to buy. I've bought about a dozen different units to evaluate, and my lessons:1) You want about this size. Bigger is great for artists, but it's obnoxious if you're in a work environment where you might want books, papers, and things. A tablet shouldn't use up too much desk space, and bigger isn't better for drawing either.2) Avoid the specialized knobs and buttons. As small a bezel as possible. It's pretty unique in that respect. Huion, in particular, has no customer service. I got a defective tablet from Huion, and I was stuck with it; there was no refund, replacement, or repair.This is plug-and-play under Windows, MacOS and Linux. DO NOT install drivers. XP Pen provides software (as does every other manufacturer), which you do NOT want for normal use. Perhaps it has utility for artists and gaming, but for normal use, it gets in the way (same as drivers for keyboards and mice, for that matter).I have models ranging for bottom-barrel to a couple hundred bucks. More expensive and fancier isn't better. I have a screen tablet and a top-of-the-line giant XP-Pen artist tablet, both sitting in my attic. THIS is my go-to connected to my main computer, as well as every computer any of my kids used for remote learning.Only thing I could wish for is a way to buy a cheap half-dozen replacement styluses. Those things get lost easily.

Easy To Use And Very Functional

I'm not an artist or anything other than a pretender, but I got this mostly for Fusion360, maybe some blender stuff ,and some drawing for fun but I have found it to be really good. Its better than me by far. The pen is very accurate once you install the drivers. Without the drivers the functionality is not very good but the drivers are very easy to install and make it alot better by a huge margin. The pen accuracy is super good, its like I'm actually drawing on something instead of just a tablet. I was very impressed at how smooth the motion is and how exact I can be on the pad. I have been messing with this a good bit and have not had a moment where it jumped from where I wanted it or that I couldn't get the pen to be at an exact point without it being my fault. The pen ergonomics and materials feel good in the hand and the rubber coating gives the right amount of grip and comfort. The pen also has buttons on it that you can rebind in the drivers. Though, I could not find a way to rebind the keys on the surface. Also the pen does not need a battery, which is so cool to me I had to add it here. I like it alot to the point I have been using it on the basic desktop as well as with actual software. I don't have access to Photoshop or other art software like that so I can't test specific compatibility with that but it should be fine. It works more than enough for GIMP. I think this is a really good drawing pad especially if you are just a hobbyist or a novice or a low level whatever. So yeah it works really good and was very easy to setup. You also get a bunch of extra tips for the pen since the tips are a wear item, and all the other stuff you need including an angled USB cable. It in fact works better than I expected. I expected some knock off stuff but really this is a real drawing pad and not just a toy. Im using Windows 10 so I cannot comment on Linux, Win7, or Mac usage.

Nice drawing tablet

I've always done my graphics work with a mouse and keyboard. This is an interesting way to do graphics, and feels like a great way to move fluid art strokes onto the computer. It replicated my strokes on screen clearly and accurately to my movements of the stylus. Being that I don't have a lot of experience with the tablets themselves, I asked some art students to give me a hand. They work heavily at hand drawn arts, on physical media, but also are working with computers to make their digitized arts really shine. They were pleased with the feel of it. They said that the extra buttons were helpful. It is small and light enough to fit easily in their bags. Really, it's smaller than a normal art pad that they carry around for sketches. What's not to like?

Very happy with this tablet. Wireless connectivity is good & pen & tablet action is smooth with no noticeable lag. The 8 buttons are conveniently located & the tablet setting app can configure tablet orientation to have the buttons left, right, or top. All buttons are easily set with the app to any shortcut combination of keys you can imagine. The 7 inch size feels perfect for me. I think a larger tablet would feel uncomfortable with to much arm movement necessary to navigate the entire screen.
