I’ve been wanting a pair of Salomon’s for a while and I initially wanted to try the XT-6 model, but stumbled upon these and immediately fell in love with the cement/lichen green color way! These shoes are so comfortable and versatile. I love the Gore-tex because I can wear them in the rain/snow and not worry about my socks getting all wet. The ease of the QuickLace mechanism is so helpful when I’m running out of the house. Could not be more happy with my purchase!

I love the way these shoes look - super sleek. They are very comfortable and keep my feet warm and dry while I walk the dogs in freezing weather. I've been wearing these shoes every day in winter. Very grippy. I've ordered two other pairs of Salomons since getting these, and plan on ordering more.

I wear a woman's size 8, purchased a men's 6.5 and the fit is perfect!The internal sole isn't very cushy, but it conforms well to the feet and offers great support. The external sole is thick enough such that walking over rocky ridged terrain is sensationless.I purchased these to replace my trail walking shoes, but they're stylish enough I've been wearing them out around town and to the office as well.Waterproof and clean off easily!

These are my comfiest shoes, whether it be walking around the city or working out. They are not the most breathable so not sure how they'd hold up in hot summer weather, that's to be expected from gore-tex shoes, but that also means they keep my feet warmer in the winter than regular sneakers. 100% waterproof, fits true to size, I have narrow feet so can't speak for wide feet.
Love the shoe but it runs very small. This is my third pair of Salomons. The other two were a US size 10 and fit perfectly. This time I couldn't fully extend my toes in the toe box. I ended up giving them to my wife who normally wears a Lady size 9.5 and these fit her perfectly. I love the GTX and quick lace features but wish there wasn't size disparity between the models.
I bought these because I heard great things and it was on sale. But DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE FLAT/WIDE FEET! I wore these for roughly an 8 hr shift at work and by the end of it I couldn’t walk. The shoe kept stabbing me constantly on the side of my foot were I should have an arch but I don’t, do to having flat feet. I thought I had to break them in but THESE BROKE ME IN. Do not buy
My first pair of XT6’s didn’t last me long so I received a new pair of Salomon shoes with high hopes, especially considering the reputation for quality that precedes the brand. However, I was disappointed to find that after just three months of use, the Gore-Tex lining began to fail, allowing water to seep in and soak my socks during rainy outings. I’ve only had these for 6 months now but I stopped wearing them as it started having problems. As a customer who has invested in two pairs of Salomon shoes within a year, I expected a higher level of durability and longevity. Regrettably, both pairs have become unusable in a relatively short span of time, leaving me questioning the overall quality and durability of Salomon footwear. I’m really disappointed.
Ordered UK 9 initially but too small. Tried UK 9.5 but my toe still touching the top of the shoe.Did I miss something or the universal shoe sizes are gone out of the window or what …Defo not for Salomon order and return and order and return saga again.Also by the time I figure I suddenly wearing UK 10 they run out of stock.Well done Salomon!Never again.
So far these shoes have been waterproof. They’re pretty light weight and comfortable. A bit roomy for my narrow/long foot. Got these after my Hoka gortex speedgoat shoes started leaking in less than 1 year. I need water shoes for my wet PNW daily dog walks.
I've been walking in these on snowy and rainy days with no issue - the waterproofness is excellent. And they are so comfortable! I can walk in them for the whole day. The material is quite breathable as well, my feet never get sweaty wearing them. Goretex's breathability is a bit lower than mesh, but it protects my feet from the chilly wind in winter.
