Not with the XTM, open the box fit to vehicle, use your drawer.

Great unit. Deep, long, fits much more than you'd expect. Heavy, but that's a good thing since it's on the opposite side to my fridge and slide. Quiet, smooth bearings. Very easy to install.
Great quality for the price. Build is study with a good fixtures kit. Rollers are solid and the rubber bump stops are a good feature. If I had any feedback it would be to have a slightly thicker top piece. I think with my kids throwing stuff in the back of the ute it may cop a bit of a thrashing. However it looks pretty easy to replace if anything does damage it.
Nice and simple unit with solid components that isn't as heavy as some of its budget competitors, doesn't cost an arm and a leg like more fancy brands on the market that basically do the same job. Has it's limitations but for the price and it's presentation well worth it. I secured it to a false floor in my Ranger with ample screw down points on the base to choose from. Rails and latch work well If I wasn't nearing my GCM with our Caravan I would most definitely have purchased a pair of these.
Fantastic drawers and so east to fit. As they are single they are light enough to move yet fastened together in the ute make a very useful and flexible system. Drawers are easy 5o remove with 2 catches. Carpet and finish is great. Would reccomend to anyone. Thanks BCF
The XTM drawers were just the thing to efficiently store equipment on a ute tray under canopy. An intermediate length, e.g. 1m or so, might be useful but the 1.2m drawers still leave adequate working space at the back of the tray.
I’ve just bought my second draw. The first drawer has been in service exposed on the back of a work Ute for a few months. With over 40k kilometres of outback and country roads, including the Strzleki track the draws have held up well with little dust ingress and no failures. Don’t expect the wooden top to handle the rain and elements for too long without waterproofing. I will be swapping the lid for an aluminium plate, but am surprised the original top has lasted this long.
Bought 2 x xtm drawers one was perfect but the second one is defective, hard to insert and extract draw during fitting and two of the screws that secure the top board where so badly threaded one couldn't be removed. Pretty poor quality.
This is a handy, inexpensive drawer for the rear of my ute. Obviously the price is the major benefit of this unit. The bolt downs, lock, smooth runners and strong material are great also. Draw backs are no locking mechanism for when draw is open, the draw only opens to 2/3 so the remaining 1/3 is difficult to get gear in and out of and the 1200mm length is much shorter than most ute trays, so you end up wasting a good 200mm of space.
