I bought this for a camping trip it was awesome and far superior to other brands some of my mates had that I helped erect. The big advantage the XTM has over others are the large windows one that lined up perfectly with my van sliding door and zipper floor. Worth every cent!

Dried nice and quickly for early morning pack-up.Convenient to get to the back seat of the car from inside the tent.To reduce the strain to the awning poles, we did add an additional u-top pole to each side of the awning to provide extra support for the weight of the tent.

Purchased a couple of weeks ago over the other ‘Royal’ sounding brand as this one is thicker material. Poor decision, the mounting brackets aren’t very sturdy so had to purchase better brackets that limit sidewards play.Set up was really easy, although the awning was too heavy for its own hinge system and the cheap hinges broke. Hinges are only made out of poor quality alloy.

We are happy with it, & the awning. I’ve mounted it on a enclosed trailer, not the traditional spot for it. So when you mount awning be aware of the channel the tent slides in to. Make sure you can access that. Otherwise, all is well.

Just picked it up and gave it a test run in the driveway. It took 20mins on my own to set up the side awning and the tent (for the 1st time). Very easy set up and pack up. Packs into a small nylon bag. A great extra room to go with the roof top tent. Easy access to the ute. Zips and velcro for the bug screens and privacy screens. Zip in floor, this floor would be very slippery when wet, so I've added a non slip flooring on top. Great quality for the price.
Bought this 6 weeks ago, did a one off setup on my own and it took about 10 minutes including setting up the awning. Just used it properly for an over night and it was great. We had rain and the awning was set to allow rain to run off and, although some got onto the tent, none leaked through. If you were set up in a puddle then a very different story as it’s obviously not a fully waterproof arrangement with the zip off floor. Enjoyed my night and have no apprehensions about using it again. Might be a little hard to try and pack away on your own but most people will have someone to help.
Was great in a huge storm. I had to add a couple of guy ropes to keep it structurally good. A couple of times later I went to use it and it, had a second person holding it down as a precaution from some light breeze and it still snapped at the hinges. Will be returning it. There’s no way it can be advertised as a 1 person setup unless theres no rain or wind.
Not a lot to fault on this awning tent. Connects on pretty quickly, handled a bit of wind without any real issues. The only points that stop it being a perfect 5 stars are the strip below the entry flops around a bit when the door is open (not sure how that could be improved though) and the door section into the vehicle opens really low and then leaves a gap below the car. I'm very happy with my purchase though and am happy to recommend. The zip in floor works well too. Quick to attach and totally water proof.
It's not easy to put the light weight plastic up in bad weather.The tent pegs are not good for this tent.We had to buy a new awning our sunseeker awning was no good for this tent.The running railes on the sunseeker were to small for the tent.
