I needed a multi tool for one job, initially thought this wouldn't be powerful enough to cut through 2 layers of plywood but with some persistence it will do the job. Also, its small and compact for tight spaces (crucial if you are trying to cut a hole under a sink like I was).Make sure you tighten the blade firmly, will come loose after a while if you don't.

Needed to cut into some skirting and paid for itself on the first use. Have used it many other times since for various tasks around the home. Incredible value and a great quality tool.

I simply needed to cut a piece of timber to make a replacement corner bracket-block for chair leg. Original one was made from rotten wood. It was not safe to continue to use the chair without fixing. It it impossible to find the place and people where they make for you the replacement corner bracket – block. It is easier to buy new chair. I do not have saw and workshop for proper job. Also I would need some tool to polish rough edges after the use of saw. So I bought this marvellous oscillating multi tool for the price of cheap saw. And I did everything with this multi tool. You are welcome to visit me and seat on the refurbished and safe chair.
I bought this specifically to cut door jambs and trims and it does the job well enough. I would recommend to get a replacement blade, as it gets dull pretty quick (probably where they cut costs).
Perfect price point. Skirting, cornice, small random cut into a house renovation - this is your tool. Don't have a use after that - through it out, or give it away, but mine will definitely come in handy. Munched through skirting, and cornice no issues at all.
Works well with nice amount of power. Only comes with 1 blade but can buy cheap universal blade sets which fit this. Is very loud and vibrates a lot. No variable speed like other brands so is easy to burn out your blade if not careful.
I previously owned a name-branded multi-tool that ran via Lithium battery. I bought this because I needed to cut a single hole on my property and didn't have it with me...it puts the battery versions to shame. This unit costs less than a single replacement blade for the name-brand alternatives. I'm not sure how this is even possible but it really kicks with 240V power behind it, and runs happily on an inverter.10 stars out of 5.
I thought I would give this a try as it was so much cheaper than the others. It did not fail to satisfy, it did the job as good as more expensive brands. However, it did die after about a couple of hours of constant work, probably the brushes packed in. Also one of the pins broke off (that hold the attachments in place - no big issue, but shows the quality). I think it suits someone wanting this tool for a couple of small jobs and does not want to spend too much.
Bought this after reading all the positive reviews. I had a one off job cutting a small rectangular hole into some brickwork. I purchased carbide blade with it to get through the brick work, but it did it very easily, without issue. Very happy with the purchase especially given the $39 price paid.
