But for the times I've used it, it has never failed me.I have used many wireless systems in my 20+ years of video and music production and I am always nervous the first few times I take them out into the field. Some systems have been very disappointing while others let me perform with confidence that all will be well.No matter how awesome a product is, stuff happens. I'm sure one day I'll get a glitch. So far though, all is good. The bottom line, if you need to transmit clean audio without the use of cables, I highly recommend this product!

- Pros: easy set up, full charge in 2.5 hours, 5-6 hour battery lifespan, good distance reach- Cons: line audio level output volume is low.Overall: I bought this system to run a speaker upstairs during a house party. Set up only took a few seconds of pairing once I turned both units on, and I was ready to go. The only drawback was the line level volume was not as high. Because I ran the transmitter into my booth output, I was able to raise the gain separately from my main speaker downstairs. You can daisy chain up to six receivers so I will definitely buy a few more receivers only. I highly recommend this purchase.

Good product, works well for both mic and powered speakers
13 May 2019

Ive used this twice on live shows in restaurants. For the first show I used it on my mic and the transmitter were only about 5-6 apart. It worked perfectly, no dropouts or glitches and the sound quality was exactly like a cable, For the second show I used a pair for power speakers. I plugged the transmitters into an XR18 mixer and the receivers into powered speakers for front of house. I set one pair on channel 3, the other on channel 5. The set on channel 5 had a few glitches during sound check so I switched it them channel 6 and the glitches went away. On this show I set the mic/line switch to line but the volume dropped significantly. I switched back to mic and the gain was as expected. Ignore the bad reviews

Overall:For real. The guy who plays 300 shows a year obviously knows what he’s talking about. The guy complaining that you lose signal when you hold the transmitter...duh, bro. You don’t even need a manual to tell you that. Those other negative reviews? Those guys obviously have user malfunction issues. Perhaps a call to tech support or any PROFFESSIONAL soundman/woman will resolve whatever backwards thing you are doing. Me? I’ve been performing for 20 years or more, a few of which were as a touring proffessional. I’ve used wireless mics only a handful of times, and never got one because of the cost vs quality thing. Not but a few years ago, I was complaining about how there wasn’t a product like this out there yet. Shame on me for not doing something about it ... MoreOverall:For real. Not but a few years ago, I was complaining about how there wasn’t a product like this out there yet. Shame on me for not doing something about it myself. When I stumbled across this, I had to give it a shot. My little metal project practices in a church above a warehouse and, I kid you not, I walked easily 90, if not 100 feet away and kept in with them. We practice on the church stage with a full p.a. Pushing about 2500 watts into 2 x 18in subs, 2 x 12 midrange subs, and two 2x12 mains with horns. Fully mic’ed drum kit, 2 guitars that are wireless, and the bass are all spread through the p.a. I plugged this in to my Beta52 and roamed free all night. We were all blown away. Only a small adjustment to the mids and compression because the signal was cleaner than the cheap cable I was using beforehand. My only hiccup was making sure the transmitter was fully inserted, but I have had that issue with that mic before. After a three hour practice, it took less than thirty minutes to charge back up. Phenomenal product and I know it will just keep getting better. Oh, yeah, and only morons use a new product live with out testing it out first, wedding guy. I’m embarrassed for you. To sum it up, go ahead and buy it, reader. I’m sure there has to be some way this product can dissatisfy at some point, but I haven’t seen it yet.

Overall:Extremely simple to use. With old mixer (Personus) the Xvive receiver fit perfectly next to each other. In my new mixer (SQ-5/ Allen-Heath), I have to use every other channel because there is not enough space between the channels. So I guess I’m asking you to come out with a U3-2.0…lol. I’m not giving up my new killer mixer. A&H should have consulted you but here we are. I’d like to go Xvive everything. That’s how much I like the product.Church musician/ now Pastor.

Got the wireless mic system I ordered, as expected. Retail package seemed just slightly shop worn on the corners, but not bad. Oddest thing was that the receiver unit was left on (charge depleted) in the package. Not sure if it stresses the battery to be drained to nothing for a prolonged period (I read that this may be the case with certain battery types). But it charged up ok and seems fully functional at the moment.Without the benefit of lab instruments to do a scientific comparison, the system works comparably to a regular mic cable. No discernable difference in gain. There's just a bit of hiss that it adds - good enough for live applications. The hardware feels solid. One thing to note is that you may need a different kind of microphone stand clip. With the ... MoreGot the wireless mic system I ordered, as expected. Patrick's review of Xvive U3 Microphone Wireless System - Black
25 May 2022

Pros: The size and weight and the accessibility. It fits on all desks and doesn’t take up extra space. When the microphone end accidentally falls out on the floor because someone’s hand rubs over it. It seems solid enough and it’s built to take a beating. Which is great because musicians are always on the go rushing around.Cons: The microphone end is to easily loosened by the touch of your hand. There should be a lock once it’s in place. Take the gate off or the compressor. So it sounds more open.

Review of Xvive U3 Wireless Microphone System - 2.4GHz
20 May 2022

These are great, there is no latency. I walked around various rooms in my house trying to lose the signal but couldn't. They continued working through all the walls. The sound is a bit crisper than with a cable, but I liked the extra brightness. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the connections. The transmitter doesn't snap fully into my mic. I have several, and it won't go fully in. The connection very tight though, so it won't fall out. Also, the charging connections are very tight and I have to almost force the plugs in. Again, I have tried them on other equipment with the same result.Having said that, the charge lasts forever, and they charge fairly quickly, so on the whole, I would recommend them.
