XyloSweet Packets - 1 LB

I have been using xylitol for more than 5 years. I love it! We use it in our coffee or tea, sprinkling xylitol over fruit that’s not as sweet as it should be and in anything that calls for sugar. My husband likes to mix a cup of boiling water to a tablespoon of xylitol, letting it cool and using as a mouthwash after brushing his teeth. The only thing about it is, it cannot be used in recipes with a leavening agent because it kills the leavening action. Swedish dentists have recommended it for years, claiming it’s much better than fluoride, in that it actually protects teeth. Yes, I like xylitol! Can you tell? It is a great alternative to sugar without aftertaste and/or side effects. It is totally safe.

I prefer it over swerve since it doesn't give off a cooling sensation in my mouth. I blend up a portion of this to for baking. We don't use a lot of sugar, so its worth paying a bit extra to have a healthy alternative, which this is. Use just like ordinary sugar, but without the insulin spike. You may need just a tad more to get the same sweetness. We have it in our coffee and on natural yogurt mostly.

2nd best substitute for sugar

Xylitol is almost as good as the Tagatose. I give it 4 stars because it does taste almost exactly like sugar and isn't as expensive as the Tagatose. It doesn't have a bitter aftertaste, but itdoes give me an odd sensation that I can't describe. Takes a little getting used to. And it doesn't dissolve as well as Tagatose. I have used 1/2 Xylitol and 1/2 Tagatose in pumpkin pieand not had any complaints. Over all I would say Tagatose is a remarkable substitute for sugar, and Xylitol is a terrific, less expensive substitute for Tagatose.

Better than sugar

I’ve been using this product for about 5 years now. Sometimes I use a half and half mixture for my sweet tea because if l’m drinking more than a couple tall glasses a day, I’m running to the bathroom. I use it in my baking and basically everything else.Theres no aftertaste. It’s a great alternative to sugar

My Go-To Sweetener

This xylitol stuff is really great. It has allowed me to cut a good deal of sugar out of my diet, and I now prefer the taste of my tea with xylitol over sugar! The product offered by this seller is of a very high quality. The crystals are very fine and more similar to sugar than some of the other brands ilI have tried. Good value here as well, I recommend to anyone looking for a sugar substitute or replacement. Plus, xylitol has worked amazingly in the baked goods Ive made with it, it even creams up with butter just like sugar.

Not too sweet or artificial tasting

I love this product i have been looking for a natural sweetener that was not too sweet but enough to take any bitterness from my coffee. Score! Love this product! it does exactly that. it is not too sweet or artificial tasting at all. Birch also has many health benefits. Packaging a plus

I love this product for the many benefits using xylitol delivers. It is a quality product and a good value. Additionally, I appreciate the packaging which limits the amount of plastic used. I am happy to use my own containers and wish more manufacturers would consider reducing the amount of plastic used in the packaging of a product. It is something that definitely influences my buying decisions. I thoroughly recommend this product especially for anyone concerned with reducing plastics.

Really good

This is good xylitol - but its better mixed half and half with stevia powder - they compliment each other for a fuller sweetness.I grind this to a fine consistency like icing sugar in my nutribullet which is better for adding into raw dessert dishes, raw chocolate, otherwise granules stay granules. Perfect and necessary for a ketogenic/sugar free lifestyle - I can make frosting, cupcakes - anything sweet with this and it substitutes well, so im not left feeling deprived. I find the front picture ironic - why would you add it to fruit? Fruit is so sweet already.

The sweetener is great!

Delivery was timely. This sweetener is exactly as advertised. It acts like sugar. I bake with a lot and use it in my tea. I would advise reading the warnings online. Allow you system to become used to it. Over use too quickly has light side effects such as diarrhea. But nothing serious. Four stars because I wish the manufacturers would address the zip lock closure. It is not as good as it could be so I'm inclined to use a bag clip (like for chips) so it won't stand open. Over all, the sugar is wonderful. I know you will enjoy it.

Xylitol for sweets and dental health

I like using true birch xylitol. It makes a great sweetener in baked goods.But a surprising side effect is that mixed with warm water in your water flosser, adds a whole new level of clean and deters plaque. I just add about 1/4 or 1/2 tsp to the upper level on the tank, mix well with the water to dissolve, and start your engines! Afterwards, I not drink water for a little while to allow the xylitol to better do it's job.Anyway, this is just based on MY way of doing it---always listen to your inner guidance for all things.
