I am so excited to receive this product to test and so far it is so awesome to have! It looks very nice on the door and lights up when needed. The installation was very simple, and the overall set up on the app was fairly smooth. The only part that we’ve had trouble with, is setting up the fingerprint, but that is not a dealbreaker for us. Our favorite feature is the auto unlock. So long as your Bluetooth is turned on, the phone connects to the lock, when it senses that you are walking up to it and it unlocks automatically. There are also so many options that you can do in terms of having the door automatically lock after your preferred amount of time, method of entry (ie, auto unlock, with a code on the keypad, your phone or Apple Watch, etc). You can also set separate codes for each person of the family so you know exactly who has been in and out of the house and at what time(s) they arrived and left. I think that feature will become valuable when our kids are a little older. You can also set up notifications such as if the door has been open for X amount of time. The app allows you to choose if you want to be notified and, if so, after how long. I greatly appreciate these types of devices that just create peace of mind and extra safety for my family and I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking to take their home security to the next level.

I never knew I NEEDED this till I had it & now I can’t live without it. Seriously. It makes my life soo much easier. I’m usually in a hurry whenever leaving or arriving home & my hands are often full (purse, keys, groceries, other bags, etc.) which slows me down when I get to the front door. I USED to need 2 hands to unlock & lock my door which got frustrating, especially when it was wet outside & setting things on the ground is not an option. Now with my “Yale Assure Lock” I ONLY NEED 1 HAND to twist the doorknob! It is so easy & I love it. I wish I had discovered this sooner. You do have to allow “always share ‘precise location’ data” in order to use the auto-unlock feature. You do have the option of unlocking your door using your fingerprint &/or a 4-digit PIN, so location data sharing is NOT a requirement for use.The door will also auto-lock after 10 seconds (or longer if you select more time) so all you have to do is close your door behind you. Close the door, walk away & 10 seconds later it’s locked! That definitely makes my life easier when I’m in a hurry or when I’m getting home with groceries and my hands are full. I do wish I could change the autolock feature to engage after 3 seconds (minimum is 10) bc 10 seconds feels annoyingly long when you are standing by the door waiting for the lock to engage, for peace of mind. Maybe I won’t feel the need to hear it lock after I get more familiar.I haven’t been able to figure out how to add a 2nd person to the Owner feature of the app & lock. It seems like there can only be 1 owner, which makes no sense bc a lot of people have spouses & children. My husband is the “owner” right now & I’ve been added w/ Fingerprint access. I chose Fingerprint over PIN access. I don’t know if you can do both? Although I only use the auto unlock & lock feature.Something to consider, the instructions say to NOT USE this lock if you ONLY HAVE 1 ENTRY INTO YOUR HOME, in case of device failure or Wi-Fi issues/outages. I need to look into this further to find out if the lock will still work using a PIN or your fingerprint if Wi-Fi is out. Seems like unlocking capabilities when Wi-Fi is down would be an essential component of the lock.Overall I love this lock & I’m so glad I have it bc it has & continues to make my life easier, simpler & saves me time!! It also saves me TONS of frustration, which makes for a happier me & a happier home 😋.I received this item in exchange my honest review of it. (It’s easy to discount positive reviews when the item was gifted to the reviewer, but this review is not ‘fluffed up’. I swapped out my current smart lock for this one bc this one makes my life so much easier!).

I wish I had bought this years ago! This lock is fantastic. It was very easy to install when i removed my existing dead bolt assembly. The instructions are easy to follow both on paper and digitally. The only thing I overlooked when purchasing this lock was that the wifi module was not included. We had to purchase the module seperately, this module allows you to use the lock when away from the house.App is very simple to use and it makes going in and out of the house super easy. You can set up temporary entrance codes for workers or guests and its easy to add and remove profiles.I would absolutely recommend.
