Great product, good value for money, as well, has a very smart polished finish. Looks great on the door and worked really well so far Quite simple to install,Also great service for Safe customer service. If you have any questions regarding locks, these guys know their stuff. One advice, with the lock came really cheap AAA batteries, and they were out within few days. Than you risking locking yourself out. Just got good batteries when buy a lock. As well always carrying 9V battery in my bag. It is actually quite convenient you can power it up with extenal battery if you need to.

Used these locks on my factory premises and needed an extra one, so ordered two just incase I ever needed a replacement or another in the future. Factory is split in to smaller starter units and these locks allow people to get to certain areas securely. Started using 3/4 yrs ago and just have a spare battery incase the batteries die but they give you some warning that they need replacing anyway. 10/10 Yale

Very secure lock easy to use and easy to fit if you follow fitting instructions. The feature for unlocking the gate when batteries go flat is an excellent added feature. It only took me an hour to install and set up to work with my own pass code.I would recommend if you want secure access to your private areas.

Easy to use, either with a tag on a keyring or by entering the code - no more fumbling for the right key (I have a lot on my keyring) or trying to get it into the lock. We're happy with the security it provides - reason for giving it 4/5 is that it might not be suitable if your insurers insist on a higher standard. DIY fitting was straightforward (I've previously replaced locks and cylinders) but I had to fit a new 60mm nightlatch as the original was only 40mm, making it a bigger job. Care needed to make the connecting bar the right length - I suspect if you cut it too short you'll ruin the lock. I cut mine oversize then used an angle grinder to get it just right. Overall very satisfied.
This replaces the cylinder of a standard 60mm backset with the addition of a small hole above for fixing and to carry the wire to the internal battery box.It is very simple to program from the keypad and you get one credit card and one keyring tag to start you off. Even without tags, users can enter with a PIN and I've found you can associate HF (13.56MHz) ID cards, such as you might get at work, uni or school. I've even associated by Oyster card.Be wary of the impression this works with phones, Alexa, Siri or Google out of the box. You will need an extra module and further hardware.Screwfix sell the blue Z-Wave Module 2 that works with Samsung SmartThings and some other third-party hubs over a mesh network, but notably not IKEA which uses the ZigBee network ... This is a relatively easy lock to install, easily replacing a common Rim lock cylinder and so I was able to keep my old lock. I wish they had designed this in a way to avoid drilling a secondary hole for the battery pack cable. The problem I had with it was the device didn't take the new codes I input on the weekend I installed it and had to wait for Monday to contact Yale's 9-5 weekend customer service centre.Once they did a remote hard reset and updated the firmware it works well.
I have just installed this and I also replaced the night latch with the recommended Y3 model. The reason I think they recommend the Y3 is the matching style, any Yale nightlatch appears to be compatible but there is no point using a deadlock as the keyless lock doesn't support it.This type of locking is the future, I wouldn't go back to keys. It's a pity is won't operate from my phone but no doubt the time will come. The lock is easy to install I used a 16mm spade drill I already had rather than buy a 20mm one - the hole was fine for the wire and the mount. They are allocated memory slots, I wrote the respective slot number on the fobs and card. If keys are lost you can delete that slot number and immediately disable the missing fob.I have given the builder a permanent code that I will delete when he finishes the job.For security, I wouldn't use your master code for everyday use. I would keep this code safe and secret and have a regular code in slot 1 for daily use.If you have glass in the door this needs to be security glass. Once a hand gets in it will have access to the latch (no deadlock) and to the battery module.I am planning to install a Samsung Smartthings Hub and link to this lock.
Great lock. Been meaning to convert to one of these for a while. Reasonably easy to fit DIY. Paired it with a new Yale deadlock so a bit of door modification needed. But works a treat and great to pair with fob for easier access
I've used this model for ages - we manage a few properties, and these come very handy. The gripes I have:- if the batteries are dead - your bypass battery is a 9-volt. Not optimal if you need it in emergency, middle of nowhere and middle of the night. A USB-C socket would do a better trick for a power bank. Or simply a mechanical key.- impossible to check which slot has which code. Please implement a code review function.
Works a treat. Fitting was fairly straightforward but I took my time and read the instructions thoroughly! Having all the right tools helps avoid frustration especially when I found the new night latch staple was 2mm out. Time will tell how reliable it is but I don't envisage any problems especially as it's for an apartment door so not exposed to the elements and possible corrosion. Having said that I've seen some of these on external doors with the chrome completely weathered off and yet still functioning. Also I think feeding the wire through carefully, not over twisting it or snagging it affects performance. Don't forget to only use non rechargeable batteries.
