Great deal/ great sound

I bought this as a present for my daughterI wasn't sure if the sound would be good but, she played it for me and it sounds beautiful. It has an option to sound like a real piano and it does.

I bought this for my teenage son as a Christmas present, and as a beginner keyboardist, I was really impressed with all the features it offered with lots of pre-programmable songs, different instruments, and extended warranty. Can be portable you just need to purchase a separate bag. I like it so much I'm starting to play it too! Today Yamaha's website also offers a downloadable, PDF song book with about 15 more songs to learn. #sweepstakes

Great keyboard for kids or beginners

I'm a total beginner and have a 5 year old that wants to learn, so this was a perfect keyboard. He finds the light up keys very fun and sits down to "play piano" everyday. The teaching songs are fun, but I have stopped doing them as I have to stare at the keys instead of looking at the sheet music. I've instead worked on learning a song with an app or by reading the music, then will do the light up keys to see how I'm doing or learn the next part. Having over 200 songs that light up is great, and my son loves using the many different instrument sounds. The keyboard is small and very portable. our living room is small, but it fits nicely in the corner. Be aware that you have to buy the power cord separately.

Incredible keyboard and my wife and I love the lighted keys

The keyboard is an awesome value, it has more features than we could ever possibly use the educational accompaniment hes great and the feel of the keys is good, and the sound quality is surprisingly good. My only minor complaint is that I didnt know it did not come with a power cord and then had to be purchased separately. I think that should be included in the box.

It's fun

I like the learning functions, especially the waiting option. In that mode it actively adjusts the tempo to your speed, only the illuminated keys sound so you won't have to suffer hearing wrong notes played (nice when kids are playing) and the background band is good. I don't think the learning functions replace a music teacher but teach some skills. I have no piano experience and I've found it satisfying to play along with the songs.

This is a great piano

Got it for my children to learn on and they absolutely love it. It doesn't come with a power adapter, so either buy one or buy lots of rechargeable AA batteries. Highly recommend.

This is great and fun

I love this keyboard even my wife has tried all the many things you can do with this. I am a Yamaha educator and tell students about it. There so many things you can do and the sound is great.
