Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS20 Black

The Revstar Standard RSS20 redefines guitar versatility with its innovative pickup configurations and passive boost technology. This exceptional instrument features a chambered maple and mahogany body that sculpts tone whilst reducing weight, paired with a carbon-reinforced three-piece mahogany neck that improves vibration transfer for enhanced sustain and resonance. At the heart of the RSS20's tonal flexibility lies its sophisticated electronics package. The 5-way switching system mirrors that of the Revstar Professional series, with positions 2 and 4 offering a subtle phase shift that provides a fresh perspective on classic "in-between" sounds. The push/pull tone control activates the passive Focus Switch, creating an effect similar to overwound pickups with darker highs, increased mids and lows, and a more aggressive character. Custom-designed Yamaha Alnico V humbucking pickups provide powerful tone across all positions, whilst the guitar's caf racer-inspired aesthetics are available in six distinctive finishes. Each RSS20 comes complete with a deluxe gig bag, making it ready for both studio sessions and live performances straight from the case.
