I have been a sound engineer for 10+ years now and this product is no doubt a Yamaha product. For the money there isn't anything close to it. This will not shake the floors or blow your ear drums you have to remember this is just a sound bar, get a home theater system for that. This though packs some great power and crystal clear sound. Minds and highs are great, the built in sub is more than enough for what it is. This is hands down the best sound bar on the market. If you want a boomy bass and can convince yourself that those little "sub" boxes that the other sound bars come with are great this is not your product but if you want to enhance your tv this is the product for you and especially at this price. I bought this to complement my new LG TV and also because it was a new model on special. It was very competitively priced at half the cost of a similar LG unit, and the main selling point for me was that the Yamaha 107B was deemed to be the best sound bar for speech clarity on a few reviews I read. This turned out to be very accurate and helps me greatly as I have hearing difficulties. Very easy to set up and works with both BlueTooth and HDMI connectivity. Not the loudest soundbar out there and does distort at higher volumes, but at those levels you're probably in the market for a full sound system anyway. Cheap, well made, good speech clarity for TV viewing, compact basic remote, simple elegant styling, and appears to be compatible with any brand of TV. Yamaha have come up with a rather strange design here, in that if the soundbar is laid across the front of a TV on a cabinet for example, it is effectively laying on it's "back" with the actual speakers facing upwards & not pointing towards the listening area, so the sound quality is mediocre at best. (Also the row of lights that show which settings have been selected are also pointing upwards!). Some people say about needing a separate sub. But personally, I think the soundbar gives great quality balanced top line and bass.
