Red head always delivers, and yamashita makes the best red head, I have caught more than 50 squid since I got it a couple of months ago.
Only used a few times, have had squid following it in, another didn’t quite get him & it fell off…still trying…I know they work I’ve seen them in action. Not giving up!

The 3.0 jig is 13cm long, weighs in at 20g and has a sink rate of 3.0-3.5 sec/m. When looking for good squid ground, you will need to find places that have either shallow weed beds, kelp beds and rocks or boulders. These areas could also have a bit of sand around the edges. Remember that between lifts of the rod you will need to allow the squid jigs to slowly sink back down. Most of the time squid will grab the squid jig as it sinks back down. A must for all squid anglers.
