Incredible taste and strong explosion like a bomb in your mouth but... smoothness in the end. That was my experience of the 2018 release edition. Not the best whisky in the planet for me but i just love it.
We get together and taste Scotch. Distilled in Scotland Scotch. So I bought the Yamazaki for fun. $125.00. From off the hard to get shelf. Thinking the Japanese make good cars so this must be good Single malt whisky. Nah! Just whiskey. All present [4] agreed. Very disappointing. But our Prius is still good.

This was my go to Japanese Whiskey until I tried the Hakushu 12. If you don’t like a little smoke and want a fresh, smooth whiskey with character the. You can’t got wrong with this one. Great price too
Brilliant buy comes in a nice bottle and the taste is fantastic .
I knew the Yamazaki back in 2016 when I was travelling to Japan. I brought home a bottle, and felt in love with it. This whiskey is rare and becoming difficult to buy here in Australia as it is becoming very popular internationally. The price is a bit steep for a 700ml - but worth every drop. Totally recommend this.
