From the same distillery, the Yamazaki brand won the best whisky in the world award in 2013 and for an entry product, this is far better than most of the Scottish brands.This certainly isn't a 'whiskey' such as Irish Whiskey or Bourbon. It should be appreciated by real whisky drinkers / connoisseurs alike.

I like the fresh and fruity taste. With a hint of spicy. The overall drinking is great.
This whisky has a very taste, contrasting very differently to the regular brands. This is most likely due to the Japanese take on scotch/scottish brewing techniques. Overall a good refined drink, but if you don't really "drink" whisky this might not be your cup of tea
I was surprised by the quality and taste of the product. Expected much more. If you mix 15 years old Glenfiddich with 12 years old, it would taste similar.
