After reading Samantha8654's review I was curious since soft blanket is my all time favorite and it's not always available. Glad I tried this without ever smelling it. The smell doesn't remind me at all of the ocean though, it's a more powdery musk perfect for a bedroom or even a bathroom. Beautiful scent not strong enough throw for larger rooms. I had it in my kitchen and I thought I was going to have to exchange, but placed it in my room and it filled my bedroom with a nice powdery luxurious scent

The combination of the notes used in this candle are absolutely out of this world! It’s something else, for real. Very romantic and calming. Very subtle and not overpowering. Love love love! Words can’t describe it enough. Don’t miss out on Ocean Air.

This reminds me of the ocean, as the blue water comes up hitting the surface of the shore giving off a fresh and clean fragrance. I bought this, as a ply in scent, which lasted just about 30 days. I highly recommend. Definitely will purchase again. Thanks Yankee Candle for bringing the ocean to my home. Great therapy.
OK - imagine this:It's a late evening at the beach. You decide to go take a beach walk before the sun finally sets. It's a little chilly with the sea air blowing so you throw on some jeans (fresh, laundered jeans). You're walking along, taking in deep gulps of that fresh ocean air and there's a group of people around a growing bonfire. Hints of the wood fire tickle the breeze ever so slightly. The sand joyfully squishes between your toes as you walk along the shoreline watching the sun set.THAT is how I feel while smelling this candle! Enjoy!
I’ve lived on the beach my entire life and I’m here to tell Yankee that the ocean does NOT smell like lilies, vanilla, musk or muquet. This Ocean Air fragrance is a lovely, soft, musky, delicately white floral scent with a medium throw. It’s not perfumey or overly feminine. It’s very fresh smelling. But to compare it to the ocean is ridiculous and it’s an obvious attempt to trick buyers into purchasing that elusive “ocean/beach” scent we’ve all been searching for. If you’re looking for a light, powdery, fresh, musky, barely floral smell than this candle is for you.
I normally use Bath and Body Works candles that I absolutely love. I was walking past Yankee in the mall one day and thought I’d give them a try. I picked up Ocean Air amongst a few other candles. I burned ocean air as soon as I got home. It’s been burning for 3 hours and myself and my children cannot smell it! I am so angry, these candles are not cheap. I want a refund! Listen to reviews when people say Yankee candle has no throw or performance!

Like this Amazing Ocean Air candleI’m in love with fragrance, it’s a soft beautiful smell that isn’t too strong smelling. It’s not ‘perfumy’ and that’s exactly why I Love it! I’ve moved this around the house some. I love it in the bathroom. So beautiful & relaxing!Absolutely recommend for anyone to get one for themselves or it also makes a great gift! Candles are my go to gifts, this is sure to not disappoint!
I got this candle a few months ago and have burned it for a few weeks now. The scent is absolutely amazing, one of my top 5 from Yankee Candle. My only issue with this candle is that the scent is a bit weak when compared to similar Yankee Candle products. I don't know if this is from the specific candle I got or the scent in general. However, the great scent, even if slightly weak, is one I will certainly purchase again.
Smelt like an old oil can for the first couple of burns with none of the notes. After 3rd long burn the smells started working, only when you were close to it. Very mild smell. Wouldn't ever purchase this again.
