I've used the Yates weed n feed granular a couple of times before with good results, so i thought i'd try it with the hose on. No good unfortunately. Didn't do anything for my kikuyu turf-laid lawn. If anything, more thistles, bindii, clovers and dandelions grew back, along with a few bald patches of grass started to show. It was done whilst there were a few days of sunshine and I sprayed the required amount, so that wasn't an issue. Wouldn't recommend it based on my experience. I will stick with the granular.

Very disappointed in the product. I applied the weed and feed as directed and there has been little or effect on the weeds after numerous weeks. I have used this product before with good results however it is not the case and I certainly will not use again as I have wasted my money. Over disappointed

It is impossible to fit this product to the hose without water spraying out everywhere. You end up with more chemical on you than the lawn, this would have to be a pretty serious safety risk.

I've used this product before and it was fine. However, the new spray nozzle is defective and I ended up being soaked as the on/off switch leaked a lot. Wet shoes, wet trousers and not much on the grass. I won't buy this again until they fix the delivery system.
I was surprised about the abandoned backyard when I moved into my new house. Weeds were everywhere, and lawns were very bothered by them. So I just tried to spray this product, and WOW! It works! I'll remove the dead weeds and sprinkle some lawn seeds, then cover them up with fresh soil. I hope it's proper processing :)
Used it on my next door neighbors lawn. Must of been 1000 dandelion and other broadleaf weeds in a roughly 250m2. I used 2 full bottles of it to give it a good soaking then a week later I did one more plus. Then I used a weed killer brush (at bunning) to dab a highly concerted amount to kill off ones I missed of didn’t kill. YOU NEED TO LOOK AT THE WEATHER. Give it 3 day or more of sunny days or else it won’t work and it’s not a light spray job I would say one bottle does 120m2 if you have lots of weeds. TIPS spray you lawn once a month with it to keep weeds under control, keep your lawn more than 2 1/2 inch tall to keep weeds growing too.

It worked best in summer time to be honest but the biggest fault people make is not reading the entire instructions. You can not mow for 7 days once applied. Also you can’t apply it to a freshly mowed lawn for 2-4 days. You also shouldn’t allow pets on it for 2 or 4 hours (I can’t remember and don’t have the bottle in front of me) or they may get sick, keep applying until weeds are gone. I have had luck with 2 applications in summer and they were gone but coming into winter with more rain 4-5 applications needed: it works you just have to follow instructions which by most of these reviews people have not and had sick pets or it hasn’t worked. I bought this product just few days ago but it is useless because water leaks fromwhere hose attachment gets connected as well bad design where it is supposed to be mixed with the chemical inside the bottle.Tried with another brand and better design worked perfectly. Have manually empty the content in some other container and mix it with water. As the way it is now it is not usable.
I bought 2 bottles of this as I had quite a large area to cover. The only good thing about this product is the on/off dial that turns the water off & makes it easy to stop what you are doing.I applied this quite liberally over the area required on a cool day with no rain forecast. Now 2 weeks later nothing has changed. All the weeds are still there & the grass definitely isn’t any greener.Do not waste your time or money like I did with this product.
Worked for me. Don’t mow for about 5 days before and after applying for best results and avoid the rain for a couple of days.It turned my clover brown in a few days. After I mowed the clover never grew back and the lawn was weed and clover free. It eventually comes back so maybe a once per month application would be ideal.U also have to check when the hose is connected that the fluid is actually being sucked up. I’ve had one before where the nozzle was dodgy.
