Amazing bag and a bargain in this class bag

I can organize all of my daily accessories in this bag, and on Friday afternoon pack a weekend worth of cloth’s in there and never change bags. The laptop section on the back is what sold me. I would highly suggest the yeti packing cubes or any small packing cubes to pack away some of the less used items and throw them in the main compartment for easy access. I was hesitant about the side zipper to the main compartment but it has proven to be extremely useful and efficient to easily grab one of the many grab handles, throw the bag in its side and reach right in to grab anything you need. I am in no way Sponsored to right this, I only want to share my amazing experience with this bag. It’s well work the money. And if you go shopping for other quality backpacks, you will find that this is actually a great value and cheaper than other bags in this class.

It has lots of space for the size, and has enough pouches to keep everything organized. The water bottle pockets stretch really well and hold tight. I had a 18oz rambler bottle in each pouch for most of the trip. The durability is excellent, the bag was completely abused and it feels brand new. You can tell that the zippers are high quality, I very often held the bag by the other grips located all around the bag, which is another great feature about this bag. Great pack for a weekend trip or air travel!
14 February 2023

This turned out to be a decent bag. I enjoy the simplistic design. Having too many pockets makes bags stressful when trying to access items. I have even lost things in bags that have too many pockets. I used this for a flight and a 4 day trip to Madrid. It’s a great option if you’re someone who enjoys flying and not having to check a bag. I bought the blue one, the color really stands out and is very fashionable. Also this bag is cool in regards to security when traveling on public transportation. There is really no way someone could dig in the bag to steal from you without you knowing. There is only one drawback to this pack, the backpack straps are pretty thin. Others have mentioned the need for a hip strap, I thought it was fine with just the chest strap. The bag is very sturdy which is why it’s puzzling to me that the bag only comes with a 3 year warranty and cheaper bags in the same class come with 10 year warranties. All in all, I recommend this bag. Hope this helps someone.

Need for Waterproof Technology Compartment
9 January 2023

Need for Waterproof Technology Pocket: basically, the Yeti water bottle is kept inside the backpack. When the backpack was not upright, the water bottle leaked. The water then slid down to the bottom of the backpack and then collected in the pocket of the laptop destroying the laptop. If yeti wants to put the water bottle pocket inside the backpack, it should be secured in a waterproof area. Also, when spending this much money, the expectation of higher quality and precautions are expected. The technology packet should be waterproof, as well. Imagine going on a boat or going in a lake. If someone put wet clothes in one compartment, EVERYTHING would be wet, including your technology. Sexy bag but heavy & organisation needs work
19 December 2022

Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed with this backpack, the design is absolutely beautiful on the outside but personally I don't like the layout internally. It is difficult to find items in the bag itself, and you need to rest down the bag to unzip the entire bag to get into the compartment where you actually store the vast majority of your items. The bag is quite heavy when empty as well. Otherwise it is beautiful, the zippers are very high quality (so much so that it makes zipping a bit annoying and requires more strength/force than most normal bags). So for me this may unfortunately not be a bag that i will use often, and have even began contemplating selling because for the price i was not expecting a single flaw. So nice, I bought it twice!

I was excited when I saw YETI was making backpacks and bought one right when it came out. In their lineup, the 27L is the perfect balance for me.On the daily, I use it to carry around my laptop, tech kit, toiletries, water bottle, and other daily essentials. For longer trips, I have no problem packing my clothes in a packing cube and fitting it in the main compartment. The main compartment has four zippers and makes accessing the items inside really easy, especially when it is packed full of packing cubes and other items.I find the backpack has just enough organization for everything I carry on the daily while still being "minimal" enough to let me use packing cubes and other organizers for more extended travels. Straps have little padding
9 January 2023

I bought this bag a month ago from yeti.ca as i am Yeti loyal(cups, bottles, coolers, dog bowls etc..) and have many products, looks amazing, holds quite a bit of gear. However the straps are terrible as there is very little padding. I used the bag during our family vacation to Disney and my shoulders were in pain. Backpack had some snacks and 2 full 523 ml Rambler water bottles inside (space in bag made esp for these). I have used much cheaper non Yeti backpacks on past trips and they were better equipped. I called yeti customer service to see what my options were Ie: exchange for a bigger bag which may have better straps or return all together. Both are non options as bag was taken out of original packaging and used. Hope others have better luck with their bags, ... MoreI bought this bag a month ago from yeti.ca as i am Yeti loyal(cups, bottles, coolers, dog bowls etc..) and have many products, looks amazing, holds quite a bit of gear. Terrible design and very inconvenient
31 December 2022

I bought this backpack in hopes of replacing my Tumi and Camelback for work travel. I’ve owned many different backpacks over the years and this Yeti is by far the worst. The quality of materials used seems ok but the design is terrible. The zippers are extremely difficult to open and close, and the bag needs to be handled with two hands for any change of accessing. It can never be opened while holding in the air, and must be placed on a sturdy surface to access any of the compartments. The Rambler side access is even awkward and takes a lot of finagling to place and or remove. The upper handle is placed on the wrong half of the bag, making it next to impossible to remove a laptop with only one hand. Yeti needs to stick to what they do best, and backpacks are not it.

great travel daypack
1 July 2022

TLDR - I have owned a lot of daypacks and this is the best travel pack I have used.Just returned from a trip. had it loaded to 20+ lbs.Pros - It was comfortable to carry and the thin but supportive padding on the back and shoulder straps did not make me hot.The shouder strap webbing and beefy plastic buckle work well together especially when the load is heavy. The webbing was burly enough to grab and pull down hard and there was never any slippage. I like all of the internal pockets and I felt it is easy to keep stuff organized and quick to find. I did supplement with a couple small CF bags for small items like a Fenix E16, Sim card tool, TSA Keys, etc. The top pocket is deep and roomy enough for a magpul case and more. I stored travel docs and a 13" macbook air ... MoreTLDR - I have owned a lot of daypacks and this is the best travel pack I have used.Just returned from a trip. had it loaded to 20+ lbs.Pros - It was comfortable to carry and the thin but supportive padding on the back and shoulder straps did not make me hot.The shouder strap webbing and beefy plastic buckle work well together especially when the load is heavy. I stored travel docs and a 13" macbook air in the rear compartment along which worked really well. Really like being able to open the main compartment fairly wide and the dual zippers on each side was another reason I bought this since I can access stufff in the bottom of the bag without the stuff in the top falling out. All the zippers worked well with just a little resistance due to the weatherproofing. The side grab handle is very useful, the top handle sticks up making it easy to grab. I used the luggage pass thru (on the Yeti 29 Crossroads) and even with the daypack loaded full, it balanced great on the luggage. I did not need to use the compression straps and I only kept a couple thin items in the front pocket. I also like that it does not look like a typical SHTF loadout pack though it would be pretty easy to carry and quickly access EDC stuffCons - Thought I would like the internal bottle "pocket" but it takes up a lot of interior space and you have to load the bottle in first before loading the pack otherwise it is easy to not leave enough room for the bottle to fit versus having an outside pocket. This is specific to my use i.e. I used a Tenba BYOB 10 camera insert which filled the entire width so I ended up with no room to use the internal side pockets. The key clip is an horrible design .. to easy for your key ring to come off so I use a small Nite Ize s-biner that attaches to the end of the key leash. Yeti could have included a similar Biner instead of designing something which is not functional because it does not have a secure closed loop to retain a key ring.
