10oz "Kid" Cup

BE CAREFUL! Do you really want the 10oz cup or are you just chasing the great price point? Last year I bought my 10 nieces and nephews the 28oz rambler which was a big hit - my brother and sister in law loved them because I had them monogrammed (no more fighting over water bottles). The problem was they took them to sports practice, banged them up and they were dirty when the kids demanded bringing them to the dinner table. So this year I purchased them each a matching "cup". Fearful that 20oz would be a bit large for a child beverage at dinner, I opted for the 10oz both for a smaller option and the $20 price hit just right for needing so many. When they arrived, they may be a bit too small for even a small child - lol - they are more like microscopic miniature cups ... MoreBE CAREFUL! But honestly the slim 10oz (tall) tumbler (vs. the short one) has not really met my expectations for a great Christmas present. I can't imagine what beverage would be great for these small cups. Without calling them children's they just don't make sense. And I'm a HUGE fan of Yeti, just not this product.

I've been using this tumbler on my coffee runs for a week, and I really like it. The insulation is brilliant, and it keeps my coffee near the acquired temperature for about an hour. Some heat is lost gradually, even though the lid is closed after every sip, but that's OK with me. What I really love is how easy it is to clean the magnet lid. No grimy buildup! However, I docked it one star because there is leakage around the magnet. When my dog bumped the table and knocked it over, it leaked significantly until I came into the room and found a mess. That's unfortunate, but to me this barely diminishes an otherwise stellar product. I love this 10 ounce rambler so much that I’ve now purchased fourteen of them for myself and family members! I have small hands and this is just the right size for me. It fits easily in my cup holder and holds enough coffee for my twenty-five minute drive to work. My husband uses his for cocktails as it keeps them ice cold. My mom likes hers very much; said she used to gulp her coffee but now can sip leisurely because it stays hot. One sister likes the textured finish and leak proof sipping, the other sister said it was immediately and permanently her favorite cup and likes how well it keeps her coffee hot. My sister-in-law says it’s just the right size to carry while she walks her dog and her husband uses his for cocktails. It gets the job done, but a mediocre job.

There are a few reasons which would keep me from purchasing more Yeti products in the future.First of all, I am very pleased with the overall sturdiness of the container, it's a very durable container. I feel like my thermos will still be intact, even if it's just happened to drop it off the side of a cliff lol. I ordered it online so that way I could get the exact color that I was searching for. It looks fantastic, I love the way the container looks. It needs to have some sort of texture to prevent this from happening, as the steel material it is fashioned from, is not slip resistant. For someone such as myself who has small hands, this is an actual issue, and not just a simple consumer complaint. The other issue I am having with my Yeti, is with the removable lid. The lid had a great look to it, however my issue is not with the look of it. It seems that often, when I place my lid tightly onto the top of the Yeti, it is leaking from the side and onto my shirt, when I tilt it towards my mouth to take a drink. I am sometimes able to remedy the issue, by removing the lid and turning it a bit, then placing it back onto the thermos. What I'm noticing, is that it is somehow loosening itself after I take a few drinks, it is already dripping down the side and onto my shirt, once again. I'm unable to place any other drinks inside the thermos besides water, because I'm always paranoid that my drink is going to pour out onto the shirt. There's really no reason for the lid to become loose by itself simply by drinking from it, unless you're attempting to remove the lid. Overall, I am enjoying the fact that I can have cold water at all times while I'm working, instead of having to rely on plastic water bottles, which only stay cold for a short time. However, seeing that Yeti is supposed to be one of the best brands out there, as far as durable drinkware goes, I'm not all that pleased with my purchase, and I do not see myself purchasing any more of the products unless I see some improvement in these two areas. Nothing beats a Yeti!

I love all of my Yeti drinkware and I have many. I specifically like the 20 oz. Tumblers for my travel coffee. I bought a removable Yeti rubber handle that I use on them to easily lug them around with me while I’m juggling other things, like my purse, car keys, sunglasses, packages, bags, etc. I am a definite “pink” girl, so when Yeti offered the 20 oz. And 35 oz. Tumblers in Power Pink, I snapped them both right up! They are BEAUTIFUL! And, of course, so functional. The other day I brewed a cup of coffee (the 20 oz. Tumbler fits perfectly under my Keurig so I can brew right to my cup!) and when I got to my destination, I had to leave my drink in the car. Really helpful if you're unwell and need hot drink

I could not be more thankful for my Yeti tumbler and coffee mug...but not for the reasons most Yeti customers are. In the past year, my employer gifted me with a tumbler and a coffee mug, with our logos on them. I'd been using them for cold water and hot cocoa, which was great. Then, this week my husband and I both tested positive for COVID-19...we are both high-risk for severe covid. We've been using our Yeti tumbler and coffee mug around the clock, constantly re-filling them with warm soothing liquids. We go to bed with them next to us, to sip warm liquids during the night. Because our Yetis keep our liquids so warm for so long, they have helped us keep hydrated and kept our throats from being sore. TOO SMALL, BIG REGRET

So very disappointing.This may have the quality of Yeti -- BUT -- it is made for a child. It is so TINY.The pictures are deceptive, even for 10oz.I am very upset since I bought it as a gift -- engraved during their promotional time, and now I can't return it. It looks so tacky! Obviously I'm not giving it as the gift.I called Yeti -- sadly they won't do anything to help. I had order the other 10oz lowball ones they are great -- I only wanted to exchange - they won't do it since I had it customized during their promotion, however if I had known it was for a child, I wouldn't have purchased it. IMO -- poor customer service when an item is so misleading. I won't be buying from them anymore. The Yeti 20oz tumbler is versatile size for either hot or cold drinks. However let's be honest, you're paying mainly for the name. I had a generic stainless steel 20 oz tumbler from my local "fast journey" gas station that felt better in my hand, held slightly more liquid, kept liquids hot and cold for longer, and was a third the price of the Yeti. I don't care for the curved sides on the Yeti (too fat for my hands). But I will admit the lid of the Yeti is superior to all other tumblers I've owned. The magnetic slide is smooth and satisfying to use! The color options are mind boggling and the powder coating is top notch. I'm really gaining respect for ACE with their quality product selection and unbeatable prices.
