For this price, I expected to love the Yeti Rambler 26 oz. bottle, and in almost every way I do — except for one thing. I want to emphasize that the Yeti bottle is truly an engineering marvel. The craftsmanship is stunning. Having said that, there is no way to attach legit accessories to the bottle. For convenience I use the optional MagDock cap (which is awesome, btw) but it means I lose the handle from the standard cap. Basically the smooth silver lip on the bottle prevents a safety ring attachment, unlike practically every other water bottle in the universe. So no paracord handle, no carabiner options, nothing. It’s not a huge deal-breaker, but it’s annoying. Moving forward, I don’t know that I would get Yeti bottles for this reason. I love this bottle and top together because the top handle is great for carrying and then it is easy to flip the straw up to drink and down to close. I didn't, I was always fatigued due to dehydration. This bottle was the best investment I've made in a LONG time... I love it so much and would HIGHLY recommend YETI Ramblers and the "YETI - RAMBLER BOTTLE STRAW CAP" to anyone!!Also- when my bottle gets dirty it is easy to clean, i just use a wet wipe and all dirty/grime (paint) comes right off :)

I was very excited to get a Yeti 26 Oz tumbler to keep my coffee warm throughout the day, as my prior thermos tanked, and it’s completely unuseable, unless I want to regularly clean up coffee from my desk. It’s physically impossible to pour any liquid out of this and into a cup/mug/container without it either dripping down the bottle. The edge of the opening is a bit rounded, rather than being a little sharper, and the pour cannot be cut off. Instead of pouring out, it just rolls over that edge and down the bottle. I usually pour coffee into my mug throughout the day, and after a few days of use, I’m tired of cleaning up my coffee (and losing a lot of it) every time I try to pour it. I even tried drinking it straight from container, but that was wildly unpleasant, especially for a hot liquid. I’m really amazed that this is even in production, and there should be a disclaimer that it only has a very limited and specific use. I’d return it, but apparently I cannot since it has been used (only way to find out it’s terrible). I am incredibly dissapoonted with this purchase, and would not recommend it this product to anyone, ever.

High Quality, High Portability

This is a great bottle. I now own all three (18, 26, 36oz) Rambler bottles, and the 26oz bottle is quickly becoming my favorite. First off, it’s a Yeti— my water stays “bust your teeth” cold for up to 18 hours, and refreshingly cold for 24 hours. I only use my bottle for water, so that’s all I can speak to as far as performance. This bottle gives me enough liquid volume for a decent trip out, whether that be going to twin or going to a friend’s to hang out. I can carry more than the ultra-portable 18oz bottle without sacrificing as much weight or space in my backpack like when I carry my 36oz bottle. The 26oz bottle fits in the mesh pockets on the outside of my backpack, so it remains quickly accessible. I equipped my bottle with a Chug Cap, taking the ease of use ... MoreThis is a great bottle. I equipped my bottle with a Chug Cap, taking the ease of use to a different level— in my opinion, a Chug Cap is a must have for all Yeti bottle owners. I ordered my 26oz bottle in white. This is my first Duracoat Rambler, and I love it. The bottle has a nice clean look, and the Duracoat gives me just a little more tactile feel in my hands. The bottle feels secure in my hands because of the Duracoat and the slightly smaller circumference than his big brother, the 36oz bottle. So if you want a bottle than can hang with you for a few hours while you do whatever it is you do without getting in the way or being a burden, this is your bottle.

I have more water bottles than any sane person should have. From plastic to double walled stainless to aluminum. Tethered caps and untethered. Drink caps and straw caps, If it's a bottle made for holding liquid and drinking out of, I have it. I got my Rambler the day before leaving for a 7-day shoot in ZION National Park. Most days were 12+ hours worth of hiking, standing, packing and moving and the Rambler was with me every step of the way. While it's ability to keep water cool wasn't really any better or worse than my other double wall bottles, design is what really sets it apart. The diameter is just right and fits the hand nicely. Probably a subjective observation but nonetheless important. The overall build quality is on point as well. After several drops, kicks and rolling around in the back of a truck for some time, there are only a few blemishes to indicate any type of aggravated use. The key though is the chug cap. For drinking cool liquids, it's a must have and a brilliant innovation. to sum it up, even if you're a bottle hoarder like me, there is still room for the Rambler.

Throughout studying business and statistics I’ve learned about the numerous types of polls and their inconsistencies. A review section is essentially a voluntary poll, meaning that only people with strong opinions (good or bad) are going to write in. This might partly explain the great and somewhat poor reviews you see. Obviously certain items will have defects but to claim them as the entirety of a product line is foolish. That said, I’ve had my yeti rambler for almost a year now and it’s always by my side. After countless Hydro Flasks and other bottles of the same sort, this one has absolutely blown my mind. The durability of this bottle is unbeatable. I have taken this fishing, hunting, shooting, and off roading and you’d never be able to tell how many times I’ve ... MoreThroughout studying business and statistics I’ve learned about the numerous types of polls and their inconsistencies. I’m also a fairly big guy with large hands and the comfort the handle provides is unbeatable. Lastly, I have kept ice in this for easily three or four days before having to add more. This is coming from Northern California where some days will be well into the 100’s. Overall I would definitely recommend this product, I’d pay double the msrp for a bottle of this quality!

Overpriced, awkward size, need expensive lids

I fell for the Yeti hype and purchased this in anticipation of some upcoming travel. I returned it within a few days. First, I was not amazed by the insulating performance of hot or cold liquids. I found it comparable to my less expensive Contigo Westloop Autoseal 20oz flasks that I have been using for my coffee for the past few years. There is nothing unique to the Yeti in terms of performance.Next, I found the size to be awkward at 26oz. No one serves beverages at the major chains in that size, so you will always have some unoccupied space at the top if you make a Starbucks run. It's too wide to fit in a car cupholder, although it will sit right at the top if you force it. Mine fell out on a turn, though. The standard lid requires opening it completely to drink, which you cannot do one-handed. I purchased the straw lid for cold drinks, which was fine, but the 360-degree hot beverage lid is not as smartly designed as the Contigo auto-seal lid. In the former, you have to remember to turn it back to closed (again, two hands). In the latter, it seals itself automatically with a spring mechanism. You can pick it up, open it, drink, and close it all with one hand. Superior design, lower cost.If you want the brand name, go ahead and spend your money. If you are looking for quality and functionality, especially for use in the car, go with something else.

Received as a gift in December (purchased at REI). I put it in a cabinet in December. In August, while packing for the beach, I remembered I had the Yeti, so I brought it. Remember, NEVER USED. I opened it at the beach to find several dark spots inside. I could reach one of them, and it was clear that the stainless was eaten away! I completed a warranty claim online. After a few days, Yeti writes back and said that it was likely due to moisture build up, to buy some Barkeepers Friend (an abrasive), and scrub the rust away!!First, it was never used, so there was no moisture. Second, were they telling me that a stainless lined bottle is susceptible to water damage?? Third, I'd need to find an 8-year old to get his/her hands inside the narrow bottle to scrub it, and I'd likely violate some local labor laws.Seriously, you don't need to show off you have a "Yeti" - overpriced, overhyped, and no customer service. Look elsewhere.

THE ONLY WATER BOTTLE YOU NEED TO BUY!
12 June 2018

Me and my wife always go through the struggle to drink the recommended water a day just like anyone else. But when your water is warm by 9 am on a summer day you find yourself no longer finishing it. We have tried other brands that claim to hold coldness (and heat for that matter) just as long as YETI but always fail to live up to the claims. When my wife became pregnant with our daughter she decided it was time to try the YETI Rambler so she could take a full bottle to work everyday and see if everyone else's recommendations were correct. AND THEY WERE! We both love our new ramblers. The first week I filled mine up with ice one morning, took it to work and left it in the truck overnight to take to work the next day. The leftover ice was still there! Just filled it ... MoreMe and my wife always go through the struggle to drink the recommended water a day just like anyone else. AND THEY WERE! We both love our new ramblers. The first week I filled mine up with ice one morning, took it to work and left it in the truck overnight to take to work the next day. The leftover ice was still there! Just filled it up with more water and back to work we went. And it was a warm and sunny early summer day. Also, we both purchased the bottle straw cap for convenience. Other brands claim to be leak proof or resistant but I would have water on the front of my shirt just about every time I took a drink. The YETI does not spill a drop! Clean shirt all day! We are both really happy with our new Yeti Ramblers and they will be the last water bottle we both will ever need to buy! Don't waste your money like we did and go straight to the BEST. GET YOURSELF A YETI!

Underwhelmed

Many of my friends and family members swear by Yeti so when it came time to replace my battered old thermos-type insulated bottle. I chose the Rambler bottle with the cup cap. It was a beautiful bottle and I was really excited to use it! My morning routine is to preheat my insulated drink bottle by pouring boiling water into it while my tea steeps for 5 minutes. Then empty out the water and pour the tea into the bottle and seal it. I have always found the tea to still be hot by the time I get to it. I was so shocked that when I poured my tea, it was downright tepid! I thought I must have done something wrong so I really paid attention to the way I did things the next day, but same lack-luster results and everyday since. Maybe it's designed to mostly maintain the ... MoreMany of my friends and family members swear by Yeti so when it came time to replace my battered old thermos-type insulated bottle.
