I first purchased the Hatch for my upcoming baby, on the recommendation of lots of my friends with kids. Unfortunately, it was not for me. I did not realize that after 6 months you need to pay for the lullabies! I think that's ridiculous, since the price of the Hatch is already high. Also I did not find it to be user friendly, There i is only one button on the top that controls the sounds and it does not respond right away to my touch (there's like a s3-5 second delay. It IS loud enough for a sleeping baby to listen to and have other sounds blocked out but just barely. I also wish it could be unplugged and still work but for the price, I am very happy with this unit!

I first found this in a hotel room and came home and found one to buy for myself. It is small and doesn’t take up a lot of room on the nightstand. The sounds all are realistic. Sometimes with these sound machines anything other then white noise gets annoying because they do not sound authentic. This one does. It is also small enough to take for travel. Will charge on USB or electric using USB charger. It comes with the USB cord but not the electric charger. I have plenty of those so not a problem but buyer beware.

Absolutely love the design and look of this machine. It has a mix of sounds which is great as the white noise was doing my head in - we moved to alpha music instead. Why I gave three stars is because I don’t love that you can’t adjust the dimness of the light. It permanently lives with a sock on top that moves up and down as we require more light. Also not being portable is a bigger drawback than I realised. If you’re hooked you’ll need to buy a second portable machine. Would I buy it again? Probably.

Love it! I have the portable sound machine and now I have this bad boy. I love the fact that it’s a wireless speaker great sound quality and volume from very low to very high. I just wish there was an app for all the features instead of getting up to press the sound machine buttons and light/ timer. ESP for the price. This is super small/compact to which is great.
Great tool to use for my babies room. The white noise options are endless and do their purpose very well. The light is dim and just right for not stimulating the baby or myself too much. The only downfalls are that you have to have this unit plugged into a wall socket to make it work and often when fumbling around in the dark to turn it on, I find that there are too many buttons all around each other (very minor complaints in reality). All in all a great resource that I would recommend to those around me.
I would give this 4.5 stars. I love the small size. It can travel with you or fit in the smallest of areas. It has so many noises to choose from, and all sound very smooth and natural. It offers a variety of volumes. The Bluetooth doesn’t usually work for me, even after following the directions. At least there are enough sleep sounds to choose from so that is only a minor annoyance. I like the soft amber nightlight. I only wish it could be dimmed. It’s good for a nighttime diaper change or nursing, but it’s too bright to remain on for a nightlight. Or it was too bright for my little one.
This sound machine is not working out for me. The aesthetic is nice and I like the light feature, but either the machine I have is defective or there is an issue with the sound system. There is a faint beeping sound underlying the recorded sounds, and it makes me crazy. Also, it’s hard to push the buttons during the night since they are on top, I’m always pushing the wrong ones and turning the light on. Lastly, the title is very misleading - this is not wireless, it only works if plugged in. Luckily the power cord is long, but still, definitely not wireless. Sadly I think I will be returning. I think it would work for children, but if you’re super sensitive to sounds like me, may not work out due to that weird beeping.
I was reluctant to buy at the start as I didn no any other noise existed apart from white …. After doing some research brown noise was what we wanted to try n this machine was perfect for us cos it had all 3 white pink n brown. It has done wonders for my little girl it’s a great machine small compact n it actually goes very loud which I underestimated for such a smal machine . Small but mighty! Great machine I love it I wish it did have a diffuser in it also but we can’t have everything
We have the portable white noise machine too, however I was looking for something a bit more permanent for his room with a few different options. This is one of the best purchases we have made from the sleep store so far! There are so many different white, brown and pink noise options, as well as the Bluetooth capability this machine is just fantastic. We even use it to play music in our son’s room while he is awake and he just loves it.Ever since getting this machine he has been sleeping soundly and we’ve had one wake up in the night compared to the 3/4 we were having before. He’s even slept through the entire night.
A must have for your baby registry! Not only does it have a good variety of soothing sounds, but I love that it has Bluetooth so I can connect playlists from my phone. I keep it on the dresser in my nursery and it provides enough light for late night feeds and diaper changes. I wouldn’t mind having one for my bedroom also. I almost splurged on the Hatch sound machine, but the Yogasleep has everything I need.
