I already have the Marpac Hushh for my son and love it but needed another white noise machine for my new daughter. This YogaSleep Nod is perfect as I don't need it to be portable. There are a great variety of sounds and the settings/buttons are very user friendly. The only disappointment is the crashing waves sound setting on this machine is inferior to the Marpac Hushh. In between each wave, with the YogaSleep, the sound stops completely whereas with the Marpac the sound continues, just at a lower level. This ensures the child stays asleep instead of providing quiet opportunities for them to have their sleep disrupted (in my opinion/experience anyway).

This has been an absolute life saver while moving the littlest one to a big girl room. So many different sound options for each age and stage. The light is the perfect brightness, dim enough not to wake a babe but bright enough to see. Having such a huge difference available for volume is fantastic for every situation.

Exactly what I was looking for in our girls nursery, we use this every night and set to 8hrs. There are alot of sound options to choose from but our favourite is the heartbeat. It's sleek looking easy to use and not too big to pop on a shelf etc. We have her montior on 24/7 and at nights set this to the lowest noise level which the monitor picks up but have found this to be quite beneficial for our sleep also! Takes the "too quiet" out of the house so we can all go about our days also. Definitely reccomend I wish we had of brought sooner

My dog has TERRIBLE anxiety during windstorms, we get them often. Got this and the grey travel for baby noise machine and even just the grey travel one alone helps TREMENDOUSLY. THANK YOU! I spent many sleepless nights comforting my dog, sleeping with TV on and volume up high etc trying to block out the wind so that my dog could relax and sleep. The TV sound tho wasn't quite enough. One noise machine was sufficient to block out just the wind storm sound most nights, but when pine cones and limbs randomly hit roof it would wake my dog and the anxiety would start up again so I got a second machine (this one here) to try to block out those other sounds as well, positioned the two machines in different locations both about 5 feet away from us so that the white noise was ... MoreMy dog has TERRIBLE anxiety during windstorms, we get them often. The noise machines help SO much. Even just one on a mild windstorm day does an EXCELLENT job of blocking out the basic wind sound so we use just one often. When storms are wilder with things hitting the roof I turn the second machine on but luckily am not needing it much. I like that this one also has other sounds like ocean waves, spa sounds, birds, etc which I can use on other days just for something non news, non music to listen to. We use the white noise or the ocean sounds during the storms tho.And if the power goes out, these keep their power for several hours and this one here even has the light that can be used if the power goes down. So thankful to have these! I doubt they can drown out nearby fireworks since fireworks are at times high pitch and also explosions but if anyone needs to drown out the mail truck or UPS truck or similar noises to help calm their dog, you may want to give this a try. My dogs dont hear the UPS truck when we have this on low/med we are tho usually together in a small room so it may not help in a giant room but worth a try for the minimal price!
I do like this product. If you are thinking of buying, consider that it won't run with power cuts. It does have a nice gentle night light. I'm not a huge fan of the range of sounds personally- almost sounds kind of 'tinny' and higher pitched than I'd hoped but does the trick. I only tend to use 1 white noise setting and 1 lullaby as the rest are too upbeat so not very peaceful. Also, we can hear the loop repeating which is super annoying. If you are not musical, you probably won't even notice this undertone. Despite these things, it does the trick and I don't regret purchasing it.
This has great options for lullabies, white noise, and water noises. It also has a nice night light that is not too bright. The time options are great, it plays all night which is hard to find. I am reaching out to the company today, though, because it stopped working this month after I received it in September. I am hoping the company will replace, because I would love to continue using this product.
This is the 2nd one I have bought now. I have one for each child. I absolutely love it. My daughter is 3 and loves to pick her tune each night. She also sleeps alot happier with the soft night light. I have purchased the 2nd for our newborn and have found the nightlight to be perfect for his night feeds. The sound is fantastic and can be turned up or down and has great range of sounds. The quality of the product is really good as well. Really happy.
I was lucky enough to win a yogasleep nod late 2022 and I love it so much! We previously had a Shusher which was great, but the longest time cycle available was 30 minutes and I spent so much time sneaking into a sleeping baby to reset it! Haha seems so crazy now!This white noise machine has so many different options and you can either leave it going indefinitely or use one of the timer options. The night light is perfect too, nice and warm and perfect to be able to see what you need without it being too bright.
Awesome nature sounds, light with different dimness is awesome.Used gentle storm sounds for partner sleeping too so hope to get use out of it when baby no longer needs.NOTE: this is not a rechargeable unit- it has to be plugged in for use. Works well for nursery. I am looking now to get a rechargeable travel one.
I bought the Nod and the Dohm. I really like the Dohm, I turn it on every night and have bought more as gifts to friends, but I don't care for the Nod. The white noise sound options are not soothing... I don't know what it is but they're just not the right pitch... sounds like a TV station with no reception. I thought the ocean waves option would be nice, but instead of a steady flow of calming wave sounds, it's really quiet, then really loud when the wave comes in. The stream sound is also disappointing, theres higher pitched "trickling"/ popping sounds with the flowing water, and my brain recognizes it sounding like a loop (the same sound pattern over and over).I kept it bc I don't want to return it in the possibility it won't be resold.
