Main reason for getting this racquet was because I was looking to upgrade from my 2012 Arcsaber 9 SP (3U G5)I mainly play doubles and prefer the rear court and was actually set on the 88D pro until I got to try it in a game. And it doesn’t matter what racquet you are transitioning from, the increased holding time is immediately noticeable when you first play with the arc 11 pro.Due to the racquet being stiffer than the arc 9, I immediately noticed an increase to the “make rate” of my precision shots. Tight nets, cross nets, soft shots from the mid court, rear court drops and slice shots. Despite being both 3U racquets, it also felt easier to manoeuvre on court so my defensive shots saw huge improvement as well.The racquet head is also slightly bigger so the increased string bed area makes this a pretty forgiving racket. There have been times where I would be clearing or defending with the wrong grip or slightly out of position, but can still get the shuttle to where I intended without much consequence.One thing I did notice is that my smashes seem to be a bit slower with this racquet despite it sounding better than when smashing with my arc 9. Maybe because it is less flexible, it doesn’t get the same whipping action before impact. I actually got the 3U version because I read that the arcsaber 11 pro isn’t really a power racquet and even strung this with the BG-80 Power at my standard 28 lbs. So even with more momentum and a little extra string repulsion, there will be a bit of give and take for upgrading to something stiffer.Another thing to add is though this racquet handles really smoothly (and is the same weight as my previous racquet), it actually tires my wrist a lot quicker. I think again it might be due to the stiffness where less energy is lost during impact so my wrist definitely feels more strained after games.Because of the last 2 points, I would say that I don’t think this is a beginner or low intermediate (upper C grade or lower B grade) racquet and maybe more suited to someone who is stronger and already has power but looking to get more precision I n their game (thinking upper B grade level and higher). I don’t think going for the 4U version would solve the wrist strain issue. In saying that, this isn’t known to be the stiffest racquet in the yonex range either so maybe it’s also just a result of transitioning from a medium flex to stiff.

I strung with Yonex Exbolt 65 by 25Ibs, and it worked well. Although it is an even-balanced racquet, it still has good power when hitting from the rear court if you are doing drop-shot, smash or clear. For Control, it has excellent control from the mid and front court if you are doing a net kill, net shot, or drive. Yonex Archsaber 11 is great beginner bat. Ordering via badminton click was easy. Made more customised by choosing the string type and tension. The bat arrived in a week with free delivery and have enjoyed this bat so for... definitely recommend this bat to any beginner to intermediate player...
Really enjoy the racquet having come from a nanoflare previously.Can definitely tell a performance difference and works great with the aerobite boost strings at 25lbs.Would definitely recommend!
11play is right for someone who has played for a while and is in transition between beginner to intermediate level. The pre-strung tension is not enough as the smashes are weak. So get a higher tension.
Beautiful matte finish and higher string tension (28 lbs on 3U) support for Arcsaber finally! The racket has a similar feel to Arcsaber but I feel that the shaft has gotten slightly stiffer and more responsive. Fast smashes and flat exchanges will benefit more from the more responsive shaft.
Very nice feel on the net and great doubles racket. Lacks power from the rear court so, some effort needed to clear back to back court shots but soft touch, feel and dropshots are bloody deadly. Great racket for the front guy or those who craves control.
Overall a good quality racquet.Liked: very light, nice colour and arrived on time. Whole process was easy.Disliked: Doesn't generate as much power as I expected even though BG66 ultimate string is being used, it appears the tension 24 is a bit to low. There was also a tiny piece of paint missing on top of the racquet.
