It's a modern classic racquet. Not buttery smooth but slightly on crisper side. Vcore pro series of racquets are known for its control, but this heavier version has a lot of plough through power bcoz of its high static weight. Good paintjob. Overall a great racquet for an advanced or a pro player.

Yonex declined my warranty claim about an internal vibration in the handle because I returned the racquet without strings (their warranty policy requires two piece stringing), and that the frame was "very abused". Yes, there were many hit marks on the frame, but if you play half seriously, you will hit the court surface often. Also, you should see my old Wilson Pro Staff 97, half the frame is worn off, but still solid, no vibration. Not to mention, another racquet of the exact same kind I have is "very abused" just the same, yet no vibration. And why would the condition of the frame matter to an internal vibration from the handle!? The hit marks are not at the handle!
