Even with 50 of Lancastrian blood in my veins, I have to admit that Yorkshire Tea is by far the best tea available in most supermarkets. These 1040 bags are excellent value for money and when ordered on Amazon Subscription, the chances of running out are reduced. No more having to drink inferior tea from the local shop until you next stock up on your Yorkshire Tea Without want to start another War of the Roses, use fresh water every time you make your brew. Never reboil water within the kettle And to be kinder to the environment, only fill the kettle with enough water for your cupteapot Use boiling water not 908060 deg and add to the cup with your tea bag in or a teapot that has been prewarmed. This is my favourite brand of tea by far and its also my boyfriends favourite brand of tea. I know some people will say tea is just tea but you really can tell the difference. I dont normally get to have this brand very often because our local shop doesnt sell it. Im disabled so the furthest I can get to on my own is the local shop. I normally only get to have this tea if a family member goes out and buys it for me. The nearest shop that sells it requires a car or public transport to get to. I cant drive or use public transport because of my disability. My boyfriend gave me the idea of looking for this tea on Amazon and Im very glad he did because I found it on Amazon for a really good price. Because of how many tea bags you get in the pack this will last me at least a year. Even if I had 3 mugs of tea a day which is more than I normally drink it would still last a year. This tea is really good value for money and I would definitely recommend it. Its the nicest brand of tea I have ever tried and I have tried a lot of different brands.

I bought this huge bag of 1050 teabags for delivery to France as decent teabags here are difficult to find in the shops. Had to pay postage to France as not covered under Amazons free delivery but still worked out to be quite a good deal. Delivery was quick and well packed. On opening the massive bag, was a little surprised at the way in which the bags were haphazardly packed. Just tossed in the bag with not the usual impeccable arranged packing found in smaller batches but I suppose this is to be expected considering the nature of the packaging. The double teabags looked identical to other teabags in a small box we had purchased in UK and brought back to France and using a precision electronic weighing machine we confirmed that the weight of each teabags was ... MoreI bought this huge bag of 1050 teabags for delivery to France as decent teabags here are difficult to find in the shops. The double teabags looked identical to other teabags in a small box we had purchased in UK and brought back to France and using a precision electronic weighing machine we confirmed that the weight of each teabags was identical to those purchased in UK. The doubts about the quality of the teabags started after the first brew when we noticed a distinct difference in the flavour and strength compared to the known highquality bags we had already in our possession. We tried allowing more time for the bags to brew, but the result was the same. We have now resorted to using 3 teabags to obtain a decent mug of tea for 2 people. We use just the right amount of water in the pot to obtain exactly 2 smallish mugs of tea. So, my question has to be Are these teabags the usual TOP quality or have they been degraded and put aside during a quality testing process If this is the case, this should be clearly marked on the packaging and mentioned in the Amazon description.

I've never had Yorkshire tea before, having always just bought another brand. Decided to give it a go as it was on offer and significantly cheaper than my go to brand. Firstly, i noticed the colour as soon as I poured in the water; it was dark almost immediately. The tea brewed really well. The flavour was strong without being bitter- ot has a really nice taste. Im so glad i tried this- i think ill stick with Yorkshire now!
You won't get an all day breakfast tea that's better! Trust me I've tried the lot for years trying to find it! Makes all other teas tasteless in comparison, lovely tea taste and malty it's perfect. Anyone leaving negative reviews won't be making it right, probably a few stirs and loads of milk! I live in a hard water area and this is perfect with a water filter. You can even try bottled water from Harrogate where its blended or other soft water from Scotland but I've found just filtering water is good enough and can't find any variable taste unless the filter needs changing. Rolling boil water straight in the teapot 1 bag per person. Aim for about 225ml max water per person, stir then leave it for 4 minutes. Tiny dash of semi skimmed and 2 sugars then you get the ... MoreYou won't get an all day breakfast tea that's better! Trust me I've tried the lot for years trying to find it! I did try clipper organic tea on my last shop as not had it for maybe 3 years, this made a a decent brew but way behind Yorkshire, sort of flat but still better than PG that was nice about 30 years ago not now! It's when you try other teas you see a world in difference in taste.
Im a retired shutin geek, so a Huge fan of The Spiffing Brit. That should certainly be enough to convince anybody that Im a serious person. I also, having lived in Germany and Poland for 16 years, like tea. Yorkshire Tea is Tea. Its the basic experience of a Good tea that you should have. Dont have to brew it for 6min or doublebag it like my dates do to me. Its got a low price here at Wallys AND impresses those online camera girls from England when You give them a tour of the Trailer. Seriously. Trust me.
Would highly recommend. Bought these on an ASDA Special offer as part of a regular shopping order after comparing prices online/in shops (budget conscious).I hadn't had Yorkshire Tea in ages. Family love the taste. Reminds us/our family of home and lots of . Usually can be expensive in other shops/when not on offer.Great value for amount of tea bags: great quality, easy adapt for diff. tea preferences &/dietary preferences. Appreciate a good cup of tea.
I mostly buy the 240 size of Yorkshire tea. We love Yorkshire Tea and the 240 box is good for a two person household. The teabags are reliable and stay fresh. But this huge bag has been rather a let down. The tea bags are all loose inside, all 600 of them. The bag is cumbersome and has not been easy to open and reseal, with sellotape being the only real option. Unfortunately the tea has also been variable. We can make two cups at the same time and strangely the strength and flavour can be completely different. So disappointed and would not buy this size again.
The bag is absolutely massive and not resealable and difficult to seal properly once opened. A lot of open/unsealed teabags und the once that are usable are making a very poor brew. Weak and tasteless with a very bitter aftertaste. Really wish I hadnt bothered.
