I've had other security keys. Best part of this is that it doesn't have a sleeve that is hinged and covers the key. It is just thin, no moving parts, no clickable button. I use it on my windows laptop, all google accounts, Hotmail/outlook, and it also works for my password manager. Also, can swipe it across the back of my phone, and it has an NFC chip in it to unlock apps or even my phone.

When it works, it connects me to my protected information immediately. There have been times, however, when it deals poorly with some older usb outlets. And you have to remember where you left it. Buy two. Keep one in a secure place not on your person.
The main reason I bought this key was because I found it listed as compatible with ID Austria, however the newer models are not compatible anymore!ID Austria requires a secure token with L2 certification, but Yubico recently updated their firmware and have not received this certification yet: as you can see on https://support.yubico.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016648959 , the key with firmware 5.4 is L2-certified, but the newer keys with firmware 5.7 are only L1-certified! Obtaining L2-certification for the new model might take years...Galaxus sells the newer version with the firmware version 5.7, so no ID Austria with this one. To get an L2 certified key, I will have to buy either the (>130 EUR...) The yubikey came quickly. And worked perfectly like if it was brand new, which it is! Id definitely recommend!
A very nice tool to use for quick logins. Really recommend it.
Excellent for the additional layer of security which is completely in our hands rather than depending on online services. If anyone is really thinking of accounts security beyond the borders, this YubiKey is the perfect solution at an affordable cost.
