Definitely a benchmark scent - when it first came out, I picked up a bottle after getting a whiff of the scent trail. This is one of those men's fragrances that really changed the game, spawning off insane flankers like La Nuit De L'Homme and L'Homme Ultime. Such a strong addition to the YSL line that even with newer products like Y, I'd pick the L'Homme lineup every day and twice on Sunday, and it's all because of this one right here. The great thing about L'Homme is just like the Prada fragrance with the same name... they're both fresh and linear, so what you smell at the time of the first spray as well as the dry down will be the same. Projection is good for about 1.5hrs, Scent is fantastic, and it screams to be worn in warmer weather due to its' weak performance. Gents: If you have a job interview coming and you know the interviewer is A) not scent sensitive and B) a woman, you can't go wrong with a few sprays of this beforehand. Same goes with a date that you don't mind getting close to.

YSL Paris is an elegant staple in any perfume collection. Its a versatile scent that works for as an everyday scent to a discreet date night in. Its a floral perfume with a powdery base but in a warm way. Usually when I smell iris and violet notes in a perfume I think of it as more of a mature scent but I don't get that from this scent. I will say that its more of a 30s-40s year kind of scent and would not recommend to someone in their 20s. 10/10

Excellent performance with sharp protrusion, long lasting longevity is established. Performance is directly directed into any forward facing nostrils via sillage, all around and inside the blow holes. A citrus top then the meat of the fragrance appears, as if user were slathered in fragrance rub citrified maximally nasally. Incredible, there is still a faint remnant of citrus an hour after application, well into the mid notes. Subdued and spicy yet drives the women wild with wanton abandon. Severely lacking in lack of character. A creative scent designed for maximal sexual reaction upon nasal deployment.

This has been one of my favorite all time gifts to my mother, she has used it since I was a kid and it's her signature scent. This perfume exudes elegance and refinement. A beautiful creation by the House of YSL honoring a walk in the streets and parks of Paris while reminiscing it's many gardens in bloom with it's rose aroma not being overwhelming (nor a reminder of certain elder lady rose perfumes). A little goes a long way since it's sillage is powerful and just a couple of spritz will be enough to last all day on your skin or clothes.

This one I have is the YSL Elle perfume, it is a 2007 fragrance that is unfortunately discontinued. I am very upset they discontinued this fragrance because it is one of my absolute go to fragrances. It is youthful, long lasting and has hints of a floral woody musk scent. This perfume goes on strong with just one spray this is why I don’t spray a lot of the product because it goes a long way. After around 2 minutes after one spray, the perfume settles into a medium- light musky scent. Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme is just incredible to me. From the moment I sprayed it on, I was enveloped in a captivating blend of freshness and sensuality. The opening notes burst with zesty lemon and ginger, setting the stage for an elegant heart of violet and basil. What truly sets this fragrance apart is its base of cedarwood and vetiver, which adds a subtle, masculine depth that lingers throughout the day. The longevity is impressive, lasting well into the evening without losing its charm.

Beautiful Smell. Timeless floral scent. The Yves Saint Laurent scent was introduced in the year 1983 and is a superb blend of floral and woody notes to bring to you a composition that is an expression of love and warmth. At the top the fragrance consists of heady yet subtle notes of Orange Blossom, Rose, Mimosa and Geranium. Orris Root flirts with Violet, Lily, Rose, Jasmine and Ylang-Ylang at the center. Towards the end the fragrance is lively with woody notes and musk.

Fragrance not what I remember it to be.

I have always loved Paris by Yves Saint Laurent Eau de Toilette spray. It has been many years since I last purchased Paris so decided to buy it. I remember Paris having a lighter more subtle floral fragrance. The one I received has a strong fragrance - after applying, it takes a few minutes to calm down. So, it is important that I spray in on very lightly which has worked for me.

I am in my mid 43s and used to wear this in my 20s, as my mother introduced me to this, because she wore it often. I was excited to find this on this site and immediately purchased it. Sadly, as some of the other reviewers noted, this is not the same smell and it does not list. It has more similarities to the original smell. However, there is a slight difference, as I remember the original smell being more sweeter, with a powdery/flower mix. Additionally, the scent lasted all day. This one does not. This still has a nice smell, but only lasts a couple of hours and then it's gone. This is something that I would expect from the eau de toilette, not the parfum. I am disappointed with the product and the price. Whatever has changed did not improve the product.
