It has light to medium coverage that can be built up if desired. The finish of this foundation is ideal in my opinion. It has a beautiful and subtle luminosity. It is not extremely glowy or radiant, which makes it compatible with all skin types. After this foundation dries down and sets, it can be worn without powder. I always lightly set my foundation with powder to ensure that it stays in place and lasts all day. I can wear this foundation for 8 hours without blotting or powdering my complexion. After Trying EVERY Foundation - This is THE ONE

Years ago, I exclusively used Chanel Teint Innocence foundation, but then, as companies always tragically do, they changed the formula. Sighhhh. Not for the better in my opinion. After trying to force myself to like it, I accepted that it was time to find a replacement. When I say that I literally tried everything, it is only a SLIGHT exaggeration. This foundation is so incredibly perfect, I sometimes have waves of panic when I think of it being discontinued or the formula changed. I have never seen a full coverage foundation do so many things so perfectly. I think I would have found this in either late 2012 or early 2013, which would have made me 37 at the time. I am now 46 and still use this foundation. I have lived long enough to experience the different needs of skin at different ages, but I have also found that some of the formulas for mature skin are not quite what I'm looking for. Touche Éclat provides it all and has stood the test of time. I have great coverage with it that is still dewey and somehow makes my skin look more natural with it on, rather than "covered." It feels super light and stays on like a champ. The only way that I'll go elsewhere is if YSL (gulp) changes the formula or (gasp) discontinues it. YSL...please make this forever.

Ok I have spent SO much money and have tried pretty much every foundation, tints, mineral makeup the list goes on..... I had never tried any of the YSL foundations and after reading all of the reviews on this new foundation I thought I would give it a go. WOW, it has really lived up to the reviews and my expectations. I have fair skin so I went for the B40 shade. It is a stunning bottle and it smells beautiful. You only need 12 small pumps to cover your entire face, it is so smooth, it minimises your pores, fine lines, and it sets lovely not feeling dry and cakey or greasy, its just perfect. I bought this foundation in B30 which was a pretty good match I COULD have probably gone B35 since its summer time, but hey, I could bronze it up right now.
