So first of all, the reason I bought the product is because I don’t know which foundation I should use. All I know is YSL is a good brand, and this foundation have full coverage and have SPF20. It also has hydrating properties, which is an additional point for me. Then I went to Mecca Maxima and I found a suitable colour for my skin, so I bought it.\n\nTurns out to be a good bargain! It really has full coverage. I struggled with redness and blackheads in the nose area) and uneven skin tones (my skin colours are a bit dark around the eyes). So I tried to cover that blackheads and redness and also even out the colour). It works perfectly amazing! I didn’t even need to put on primer for it to “stick”. It conceal all of my redness and blackhead. I only need to put on a bit of concealer to cover up acnes. It also does not irritate my very sensitive skin, so yes, perfect product for me.\n\nAlthough full coverage foundations are often associated with “bulkiness”, I’ve got to say, this product will not give you that bulkiness. It actually feels so soft and light as if I don’t wear any makeup- and I’m not even exaggerating. There’s no flakiness, no cakey-ness.\n\nHowever, as I have combination skin type, my skin is a bit oily T-zone, so I would recommend you to put on an extra powder on those area (you can use translucent powder, or colour, both works the same way). This is because the product is a bit dewy if you put it on that oily area.\n\nAnyhow, packaging is very pretty, I mean it’s YSL after all :) It has a pump so it won’t be messy when you apply it. However it is in a glass jar, so it’s probably not suitable for travels as the glass might break. So, when I travel I usually put it in another container, so there will be no issue for that.\nWill definitely purchase again when I ran out!\n

Having just finished using my first bottle of YSL Youth Liberator Foundation, I can confidently say it is the most satisfying foundation for my complexion that I have ever used. I am most impressed! Like most women I have tried many foundations because, again like most women, I have been on a long search for the right foundation, "the one". I know the excitement of finding one that makes your skin look perfect, only to find it is discontinued down the track, or the disappointment of taking one home and finding it is just not right. (For this reason I am a big believer in asking for a reasonable sample to take home first). I tried one of these samples at first and was amazed at the coverage, light but velvety, and the flawless complexion it gave me. It felt so nice ... I tried one of these samples at first and was amazed at the coverage, light but velvety, and the flawless complexion it gave me. It felt so nice that I kept touching my face. To be honest it goes on so well that a primer is almost not needed, and on the occasions when I was in a hurry and left the primer off, my skin didn't look any different.\n\nThe foundation contains the Forever Youth Liberator Serum which provides the hydration that smooths the complexion and gives it that dewy finish. For this reason it particularly suits those with drier skin like myself, and is ideal for those who are already using the serum. The foundation also contains YSL's Colour Tune-Up Complex, which helps to correct any dullness and evens out the complexion. So in a way it contains something of a primer already. Even more important it also contains SPF 20 sun protection to keep skin healthy as well as flawless. It has only 6 shades to choose from but I found that the light shade B10 was a perfect match. Another win, because shade matching is another foundation issue I have struggled with! \n\nIt has very good staying power and remains in place the whole day. Best of all only a tiny amount is needed to give full coverage. This makes the admittedly high price of $98- $108 well worth it - as you will have it for a long while. It is absolutely a good investment!\n

This is a great foundation with a radiant finish. It gives moderate to full coverage and has some skincare benefits. There are many color choices and it’s easy to find a match. I would buy this again. It’s one of a few foundations that I keep on hand.

This was a beautiful foundation on my skin!! I have purchased again. It is pricey but I think it’s definitely worth it. Feels light but good coverage and just makes my skin looks so amazing
This serum foundation is a life saver, my skin is combo a bit oily and dry sometimes it depends on the face foundation but when i discovered this, I felt in love with it and its worth the price!! If your looking for a foundation that saves you time do a retouch and feels comfortable in your skin, try this and you surely love it❣️❣️❣️😍
There's something in this lovely YSL Youth Liberator foundation with serum that sometimes causes a slight swelling between my mouth and cheek. Having previously sampled the Youth Liberator serum and Forever Creme, I suspected a mild allergic reaction that I was willing to ignore when I tried the new serum foundation with SPF 20. I like to think that the product is encouraging facial volume at a time in my life when hyaluronic acid, lipids, collagen, and elastin are on the wane.Absent rash, redness, or itching, my sole swellling could appear to be a pimple on steroids, and it doesn't surface with every application, so I accept it. After all, the benefit is radiance and some slight increase in density. In the case of this new foundation, the gift of luminosity is ... After all, the benefit is radiance and some slight increase in density. In the case of this new foundation, the gift of luminosity is what makes me look rejuvenated. (Please pass a finely milled translucent face powder to mattify my nose!)Is the irritant the active ingredient, 4% octinoxate, which protects against UVA and UVB rays or one of a long list of inactive ingredients? Dunno. My advice? Shake well, and enjoy! Typically pale and sallow of skin, I can happily wear Beige Rose 50 atop favored serums and moisturizers during the summer season (decelerating to 40 in Beige or Beige Rose when weather cools and tan fades). At 1 oz. for $69. this makeup base does not come cheap, especially if you like to apply and re-apply for full coverage, but it's less expensive than top luxury brands and extremely flattering.Blur the lines between youth and age. Pretend you're only as old as you look.
the 5 stars are for the foundation - 0 stars for YSL discontinuing it. I used to use YSL Fusion Ink and that was discontinued. I was onto this one and it has also been discontinued. What is up with this??? Do you not appreciate loyal customers (with the $$ to spend). So disappointed in YSL - I think my days of using your products are going by the wayside. Sad.
