It's certainly the most pricey wet food I've bought for my cats and the first time I tried feeding them goat. One of the cats eats it, the other doesn't want to but impulsively starts paw digging at her food mat like she wants to bury the meal.I have a feeling this will be a hit or miss with the cats, despite the high quality ingredients. If your cat doesn't like it - shame. If (s)he does, congrats, they're on a diet with a Kiwi pet food company that seems to have excellent environmental values.Strangely, the food smells like beer to me when I open the can. Not sure what's up with that lol

High quality food, you can see the ingredients throughout. My boy loves the whole range, he has a different flavour every day. Noticed that he's gotten even more glossy/silkier than before. Would highly recommend to others that have fed their cats high quality, grain free wet food - Not that kitty fast food trash.

I think its awesome that Zealandia provide such a large choice in flavours. My cat loves the lamb and duck. She eats this flavour, but not with as much enthusiasm.
Ingredients are decent enough but my cat hates all the flavours I bought (Wallaby, goat, chicken) - even the chicken he doesn't eat much of even though he LOVES chicken. It's much more dense than the typical pate and for some reason each of the flavours still has "Lamb Liver, Lamb Lung, Lamb Green Tripe, Lamb Heart, Lamb Kidney, New Zealand Green Mussel" so really makes me question whether the taste is much different between flavours. I suspect the green tripe is also a problem, not just the texture, because lots of cats can't stomach it. It was an expensive gamble that didn't work out :( Now trying to figure out what to do with all the cans I bought.
Sorry my boy didn’t like it at all. Too fishy, just too strong smelling and too rich a taste perhaps. I thought the taste might be milder. He doesn’t like strong smells.
My cupboard is full to the brim with all the different flavours and my cat loves every single one of them. He gets a different flavour every day XD. Would highly recommend if you've fed your cat high quality food. You can see actual meat in the product.
I had been thinking about purchasing Zealandia for a while as there is a nice variety of flavours.My cats absolutely loved the goat pate, so much so that I just put in another order.Has definitely been their favourite flavour so far and it, along with some others have now found their way into the flavour rotation.
One cat took to it immediately. The other is extremely fussy and I am introducing slowly crumb by crumb hidden in each meal. I have taken away the dry food so she is forced to eat her favorite food with a crumb of Zealandia in it. Although Zealandia looks expensive the cans are more than double the size of the Fancy Feast cans that I normally buy. Goat meat is very good food value and I trust the revues of Zealandia products. The food is very healthy with no unhealthy animal or fish parts or unnecessary chemicals added.
The Zealandia Hoki Fish pate for Cats doesn't look very appetizing when you open it, sort of greyish/brown, and our cat, Ryley, only ate it during his early diagnosis with Diabetes because the diabetes made him ravenous with hunger, so they'll basically eat anything at this point. Now that he's in remission, he's not so fond of it, and we have to mix it with Fancy Feast pate to make him eat it. This being said, the reason I ran with the Zealandia Hoki Fish was because in regard to the protein, carbs, phosphorus and sodium levels in this food, it is the only one that I could find in Australia that is ideal for diabetic cats that have CKD as well. All others that fit the criteria, you can only get in the States.
