My son purchased this product. It took off in perfectly calm conditions, zero wind, perfectly still. It kept climbing and heading in a northerly direction and he had absolutely no control over it. The emergency button (cut out) was pushed, but the drone kept going until it was out of sight (flew away) never to be seen again. Searched for it using my DJI phantom 4 in last known direction with no luck.Purchased from JB Bathurst. I'll be going to see them. My son might have well just flushed his money down the toilet. DO NOT PURCHASE!!

The drone can only record when connected via WiFi to your phone. However in doing so it causes the connection to your controller to become unstable.Once the drone 5-10 mtrs off the ground it will lock in a forward direction and fly away. All controls go unresponsive, including the emergency stop.The controls handle fairly responsively when there is no connection to your phone, however you have no ability to use the camera.

This drone is nothing other than Disappointing and sub-standard by every means. Uncontrollable straight out of the box! On every attempt it crashed violently and could not be rectified. Not fit for purpose and doesn't do as stated. Look elsewhere if you're considering an entry level drone like this one. This one we consider 'DOA', it's going back for a refund. Recommend the supplier recalls this item and deceases from further sale.

It is a decent drone ONLY if you're using it indoors, only use it outdoors the day you decide to set it free like a wild bird.The FIRST time I took it outside to make it climb 100ft I lost it, it is completely gone. After about 5 metres from the remote it wouldn't respond and it disappeared, couldn't hear it so I assumed it might've landed but couldn't find it anywhere, and couldn't see it's name anywhere in my phone's wifi list.It is good if you want to use it indoors for little practice, the camera is horrible for inside though as the FOV is pretty small so have to rely on your own vision to navigate. Tried the first fly and even the smallest breeze took it away making it hit some high grass. The motors were already broken after that, couldn’t take off again.I know is only cheap but don’t even waste that money, not even worth it as a toy.Also camera quality very poor and not Image stability at all.It is extremely light.
This drone flys OK, if you're a beginner and have low expectations. It won't stand up to a light breeze, so use at night or on a still day. It doesn't calibrate very well, so it will require effort to maintain hover. The connectivity doesn't work in iPhone. Thus, it has no video at all. Looks like lots of people are having this issue. I will be returning it for a refund.
Not too sure why these comments are all so negative for something at this price. For its price this drone is great value and does everything you need a drone to do. Good range, OK camera quality and most importantly very durable. I've bashed my drone around and still works great.Other reviews need to be reminded of the products price, and for what its priced it is great.A note is that the bettery does die after about 10-15 minutes of use but is standard for drones nowadays and is quickly charged. It also does struggle slightly in winds, but you learn how to control this.For a first drone i would highly recommend this, also keep in mind its price for value. I have moved on from it now to a better quality drone, but highly recommend as a first drone.
I bought the drone on the Sunday the 6 of November later in the day I took it to my local school and pressed the one key take off it headed in the nw direction spammed the emergency button didn’t work and flew into a tree I used my Dji mavic pro to search around the tree and I found it it was at the very top of the tree and fully wedged in there WAS NOT COMING DOWN! Was really angry because I supposed to give it to my son but I wanted to check if it fully works and obviously didn’t and before you say I not an experienced drone pilot I am I bought my dji mavic pro 5 years ago and fly it very often and the drone also says for beginner pilot and I am not a beginner I am an experienced pilot.DO NOT BUY THIS DRONE IT IS HORRIBLE
The drone was terrible and kept disconnecting to the phone. Low-quality video camera and very grainy and noisy image. Battery takes very long to charge up for only around 5 minutes of time in the air. TO ALL THE PEOPLE PLANNING TO BUY THIS DRONE:- IT DOES NOT HAVE A GPS FUNCTION SO IT WILL DRIFT AWAY, EVEN IN LIGHT BREEZE. YOU NEED TO BE SOMEWHAT EXPERIENCED TO CONTROL THIS FEATURE.- CAMERA TILT CAN ONLY BE ADJUSTEDMANUALLY WITH YOUR FINGER, NOT IN WHILE FLYING- RECORD BUTTON/PHOTO BUTTON ON THE CONTROLLER DOES NOT WORK, SO YOU NEED TO PRESS THE BUTTONS ON THE PHONE.
My partner bought this drone as a present for me, and we hoped to film our holiday. On reading the instruction manual we found it hard to find how to charge the drone battery. The instructions were poor and no pictures on how to do this. Finally figured out how to do this and after downloading app to my iPhone, couldn't get the drone to work. tried several times. On final try, the drone powered up, took off headed west and never returned. Absolutely disappointed. Do not buy this drone. Unfortunately, my partner didn't read the reviews which would have stopped us buying this rubbish. JB Hi fi should refund the purchase price. I will be sending a letter to Fair Trading about this dreadful product.
