The ZG Lite GTX boot from Scarpa is the reincarnation of the legendary ZG65 from their much-lauded Zero Gravity range. Whilst no longer the lightest boot on the market, the ZG Lite provides plenty of bang for your gram-buck. The mesh panels work with the Gore-Tex membrane to improve breathability.

No breaking in required. Extremely waterproof. Sole not too firm so doesn’t sound clumpy on firm surfaces like some do. Very pleased.

Got these for summer/ low level walks. Good fit, dry after a couple of wet moorland outings. Nice long 22k walk earlier this week on mixed ground, lots of up and down and felt good. Original Scarpa footbeds not suited to my feet but with with Superfeet insoles no problems.

Excellent boot. True to size. (Take an 8, fitted an 8). Comfortable immediately on wearing and waterproof as claimed. Lightweight for day to day wear when I'm walking the dog. Sole gives plenty of support and is good in the wet.Recommended, especially in the sale😁

Awesome boot
25 August 2019

I bought these before a hunting trip in Azerbaijan. Stupidly, I didn’t break these in before the trip, but I have no track record with blisters or hotspots. The Caucasus Mountains are extreme, and these boots performed to near perfection. No hotspots, blisters, tired feet. They were great while side hilling, descending and climbing.5 star.

Durable boot

I have a pair of Scarpa ZG Trek GTX boots for certain kinds of trips, and bought these for summertime backpacking trips in the Sierra Nevada (I hike a lot, and go through a lot of boots). The fit and sole pattern is pretty much the same as the ZG Trek.I wear size 10 US men's boots, usually a wide fit if I can get them (which in these you can't), so I bought these in size 43 EU. After wearing them around the house for a week and a few miles of outdoor walking they seemed to break in just fine, much like the ZG Trek. I replaced the insoles with green Superfeet, as usual for me.The fabric side panels and copious stitching did not look all that durable at first, but so far it has held up pretty well, and I have done a few off-trail excursions with them. So far so good. The soles also seem reasonably durable. I don't expect the waterproofing to last as long as some of my full-leather boots, but we'll see.

Fantastic

I bought these boots last year and wore throughout the winter. One of the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. Solidly waterproof and plenty warm if your feet sweat at all. Love em

Made with quality

Rarely anymore do you put on a boot and say 'wow' this is a well made Italian boot, not some new age marketing garbage. Even though it was a little heavy, I felt it was too good a boot not to keep. If this is their Lite boot, I'd hate to think what the heavy boot is. Regardless, its a well made tank.

PERFECT FIT
23 July 2021

I have always bought Scarpa boots. They fit my feet and have usually lasted for years. Unfortunately one of these boots has started to delaminate at the toe and heal after only one year of moderate daily use. I have not done extreme hiking with these boots. The soles have almost full tread and there is no wear anywhere else. I have other Scarpa boots for extreme hiking which are ten years old. I am disappointed with these boots.

Quality hiking boots fit like a glove.

Quality lightweight hiking boots. Fit like a glove (uber comfortable). Waterproof so might not breathe well enough for hot weather hiking but perfect for wet sloppy conditions.

Very satisfied!

After numerous hiking trips with these boots, I am very satisfied with them. Fit is true to size and very comfortable. No hot spots and firm support. Laces stay tight during use.
