Ziggy by Ziegler & Brown Portable Stand

I love my Ziggy!It fits perfectly in my little home.

Is a little expensive but seems good

Easy to assemble - light weight and BBQ can be moved anywhere with ease

Love the BBQ can take it anywhere and the stand is just right plain and simple

Looks like it is supposed to be a permanent, a lot of work to put together & pull apart. Bought to go caravaning so was hoping to be able to assemble & pull apart easy. Looks like it will sitting in its bag for most trips.

Painful to set up. Overpriced for what it is.

Similar to other comments, we bought this to go camping thinking it would be a simpler lightweight alternative to a fold up table that would only take a moment to set up. It isn't as sturdy as one would hope but the worst bit is needing to blindly guide the 8 bolts into the nut and then have to do it up by allen key. It does hold the BBQ ok and the height is fine but it is too fiddly to be worth transporting in the travel bag that it came with. Unfortunately there isn't much of an alternative so unless you want to put the BBQ on a table or the ground then this is your only option - just be prepared for 10 mins of setup and frustration and sore hands by the end of it. For $149 I don't think this is value for money. Probably worth maybe 1/3 of that amount. It's a shame because we are happy so far with the Ziggy Nomad BBQ itself but the stand really lets it down.

Portable Stand Issues

This is an excellent concept however it is fiddly and difficult to assemble if you are not "at home" on solid flat ground. My real concern was the manufacture. The bolts are fiddly at best having to use an Allen key - a better alternative would be to supply wing-nut bolts. These would make it far easier to assemble, however the tapped threads in the die-cast were not threated through and two were not tapped "square". Luckily I was able to re-tap the holes and for $16 bought 8 x 6mm winged bolts. Yes I do recommend this but BEWARE.
