I was a bit worried about the lid not closing because of the rotisserie shaft as I thought it would lose all the heat. But I was surprised at how well meat cooked. So far I have cooked a boneless lamb leg, a rolled beef, a leg of pork and this arvo I’m doing a roast Chook. Also, because the lid doesn’t close I can keep an eye on the progress of my without worrying about heat escaping if I had to keep lifting the lid. I have a two burner Ziggy set up on my balcony and would highly recommend the rotisserie to any one who is thinking of getting one. It is easy to set up, easy to clean and easy to store away under my Ziggy.
