I've been using Zildjian 6A sticks for years, and love them! As with all sticks, they will break, but they feel perfect. I went to a smaller stick years ago to help me stop breaking so many cymbals. 5A was too much wood, 7A broke too fast. The 6A has been great. It's not the most popular size, so I have to get them off the internet as music stores around here don't stock them anymore, but I feel they are worth the extra effort.

I usually play Vic Firth but these were a little cheaper so I decided to get them instead. I've been using them as my main sticks for about a month now and they're holding up well after daily use. They're well-balanced and comfortable in my hands. The logo ended up coming off on my hands, but that's not a problem for me.

I bought the 5a wood tip sticks and they were very nice. Not warped in any way, so that was a relief. What is bad about these sticks was that they easily slipped out of my hands when performing fills throughout a cover I was doing. It is very irritating for a drummer to have to get up and walk around his set to pick up sticks. Very annoying. Grip tape is probably your best shot to make these worthwhile. That is why I'm sticking to Vic Firth instead, no slipping of my hands whatsoever when I play with those sticks at all! Yes, nice quality, but grip tape is a necessity for these.

I've been using these Zildjian Hickory sticks for years, and pair after pair, they show their worth. I started on 5A's, then 5B's, and as of right now, I'm set on the 2B's. I've been using wood tips, but am considering switching to nylon. Don't doubt these sticks; they will ALWAYS be there when you need them. They sound fantastic on my drum set (Mapex Mars series, Remo weatherking black suede emperor heads), and my practice pad, and all of the instruments for my school band. These sticks feel very smooth, but still have a nice grip. The weight is fantastic, and so is the size. They are everything you could expect of a drumstick, and top quality at that. So if you're considering switching to these sticks, whether it be jazz sticks, 7A wood sticks, 2B nylons, Z4's... ... MoreI've been using these Zildjian Hickory sticks for years, and pair after pair, they show their worth. I saw the price and thought why not, I'm a huge Zildgian fan . I have been called Z my entire life, because my last name starts with Sz and is easier to say Z (I noticed in the picture the large Z on the stick which sold me to try them. I was disappointed when I got the sticks that they did not look like the picture!! (See below). I bought the 5A Nylon and used them as soon as I got them. They are responsive and remind me of other more expensive sticks. I would buy these again and they are good for the price!!
I've been a die-hard Pro Mark user for years. I'm not generally a Zildjian fan - and I found these on sale one day when my Pro Marks were not in stock. To my very pleasant surprise - they last long, feel fantastic (5A), and are very responsive to sticking. They are almost as good as my Pro Marks, and feel better too. I want to rave about them! I almost like them better than Pro Mark but I can't say for sure. They are pretty neck and neck, and these are cheaper. Durable too. I broke my first pair after 4 months of playing and gigging. The only con is that the logo wears off after 20 minutes of play. Really though, who cares? YOU know whose name is on the sticks! The Anti-Vibe series is great for people with Carpal Tunnel as well. Recommended!
