Zinus Deluxe Solid Wood Bed Frame Espresso - Double - AfterPay & zipPay Available

Have been enjoying my new bedframe so far. It doesn't squeak or anything which is really nice. One thing that caught me off guard is the wood type is different from in the photo. It hasn't got those multiple layers of different woods and is just the one wood with the dark expresso varnish over the top. Still nice but not what I was expecting, luckily it still fits with the rest of my room. Oh and if you have a big mattress you might find that when you put all the pillows on it completely covers the headboard so that is something to keep in mind [misc_pict]

This Acacia bed is fairly easy to put together. It has 13 pieces, counting the slats which hold up the box springs and mattress. When assembled it is a very handsome bed and it very nicely completes my guest bedroom. I have fallen in love with this bed. It has become the focal point in the room. It draws one's eyes. It is charming and beautiful. Acacia wood is a beautiful medium brown with darker brown veins. It is a hard wood and is extremely durable and easy to maintain. So durable that it is said to be the wood used in the Arc of the Covenant. (Book of Exodus) Those who had Acacia wood brought pieces to share in the making of the Arc. Amazing Simple Bed Frame!

This Zinus bedframe was exactly what we were looking for. Simple and functional.The frame arrived very well packaged. Assembling was super easy and straight forward. We were super impressed at how well all the pieces fit together. This is typically a challenge with mail ordered furniture but not with this brand. Zinus had all the pieces cut exactly correct. Everything fit together perfectly.The bed frame is very sturdy and solid feeling. No shifting or rocking whatso ever. Our queen foam mattress fit perfectly with just enough room for the bedding to hand correctly.Overall, super impressed with this frame and Zinus's attention to detail for a well made product!!

Beats my expectations!!!

Great Quality, very impressed! I have to say I was a little nervous ordering this bed. It beats my expectations in a very good way! Really impressed with the quality of the wood. Finding a wood frame bed at an affordable price is not easy, this is exactly what I wanted! Very easy to put together. I bought this for my very tall teen Son who was still sleeping on a twin bed. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. It shipped quickly, arrived perfectly packaged and was a breeze to put together by myself. It’s very sturdy and well designed and definitely looks more expensive than it was.Whoever thought of securing the slats with Velcro deserves a bonus!I bought this one for the spare bedroom. Next I will buy one for my bedroom.

Good materials. Good color. We're content.

The materials are good, the packaging and expected construction process are empathetically designed for the customer. Unlike IKEA style platforms, however, this platform has no overlapping edge to hold the mattress in place, so be sure to order a good mattress with some weight. We chose a NapQueen Victoria 10" Hybrid Mattress and it works well. The hybrid mattresses are much less expensive than the 'known' types, but our sense is that it should provide good support and do the job for 5-8 years. It is both comfortable and firm. Zinus platform beds do include a kind of unsophisticated way of holding a lighter mattress in place by allowing the user to peel back a strip of paper on two of the support slats, revealing a semi-sticky surface. I'm not sure it will continue to work over time, but again, with the heavier mattress, a user will have no issues.If you are worried about the middle legs needed to support the side rails, I was too. It tends to indicate lower quality, but we bought a full-sized bed (nice for less expensive sheets and more variety and makes rooms look bigger too), and we use European-style comforters (duvets) in queen size that hang over the platform by 8 inches or so. The legs are nice bits of wood however, and do not look cheap.So, if you need a sturdy, relatively inexpensive bed with warm brown tones that can look formal or casual, this one will do the job.

Great product with easy set up

It was very well packaged, with soft filmy styrofoam type wrapping around all of the wood pieces to protect it from scratches. Plenty of other fillers to keep the parts from rattling around and becoming damaged. All of the wood is real wood, headboard, footboard, side rails and even the slats that go across the frame to hold the mattress. I normally don’t review stuff - but this bed…

I really never review stuff - especially put it together yourself furniture. I expect normally for it to be a long annoying process with a tiny Alan key. Building this bed was seriously the easiest thing ever. The design is great, they give you an Alan key socket wrench, and it’s insanely sturdy. The video to put it together is literally only one minute. All products that you have to build yourself should model after Zinus

Twin Size is Different

I bought the Wen Deluxe Wood Platform Bed Frame previously in a Queen size and loved that it came with a metal support beam in the center for extra sturdiness (as visible in the photos on the website). When I needed a twin size bed frame, I decided to purchase the same model. I was disappointed to learn that the twin-size does not include the metal support beam in the center! No mention of this on their website or in any customer reviews. Decided to keep anyway, but the misleading description was frustrating. Also, the texture of the wood on this bedframe was a lot rougher than the smooth, glossy wood of my previous purchase. Must be a change in the design. That being said - arrived quickly and very easy to assemble!

What's not to like about our new bed frame

I ordered this bed frame to accommodate a new mattress we had ordered. The frame arrived in a timely manner and was packaged in such a way as to insure the contents safe, undamaged delivery. All parts and hardware were included along with very handy and easy to use ratchet allen wrench for assembly. Assembly was a straight forward process with only a minimum of puzzling out how to arrange the legs properly. Once assembled this frame is very sturdy and it looks great. We are completely satisfied with the workmanship, design and engineering of Wen Deluxe Wood Platform Bed Frame and we have no reservations recommending this frame to others.
