As a new homeowner, I needed a new bed that wasn't the cheapo bed I'd had as a young adult. I also didn't want to spend $1,000 on a fancy bed. Enter Zinus. Combine those features with no box spring, and it was exactly the bed I was looking for. I've owned it for a month and a half now, and it is solid as a rock. It's comfy, doesn't rock, bend, or creak in any way, and maintains a sleek profile in our room. And assembly is a cinch. What they claim is true. My wife and I, neither particularly handy, assembled the entire bed in about 10 minutes, with no tools required (except for the rubber mallet they give you).Color me impressed. You can never be sure about inexpensive furniture, but this has been well worth the investment. Based on the materials and the way they fit together, it feels like it will last a lifetime.

But, once opened, we simply noted how beautifully space was utilized to fit all the pieces into that compact package. First I want to say how compact this Zinus Justina 11” metal mattress foundation is. It came in a skinny (but long box). Not too heavy, I (a small woman) could handle it without help. The next thing that really made me like this is how easy it was to assemble. There are no bolts so assembly went super fast and the directions were easy to follow. I was able to do it by myself with no problem. I got the beige foundation which goes with everything so nice and easy to match it to any of the bedrooms in my home. I topped it off with a new Zinus mattress and it was ready for my son to sleep on. This is nice and low to the ground, but it doesn’t feel like you are sleeping on the ground. When it was delivered int can in a long 7 foot bax and I wasnt sure what I was getting into but it was so easy and quick to put together. no nails, screws or bolts needed.The instructions actually made all the sense and was reable. You take the big pieces, hook them into each other, and then you already have the base done, boom. Then you drop the slats into place, easy peasy.But then, this slip cover thankfully came with a tag that explained which way was forward, top, etc. on the slip cover.
