Zinus Support Plus Single Pocket Spring Mattress - 30cm

24 hours after opening the package and setting the mattress on the bed frame, it has already expanded to a height of 9.5 inches. It is of very good quality for the money paid. Very comfortable for sleeping if you like a medium to a medium-firm mattress. If you like to sit on your bed, you will think it is a plush to soft mattress, it will sink a lot more when you are in a sitting position as opposed to laying down on it. The top is not tight, it is a little cushy or soft to the touch, but firms up when you lay down on it. It doesn't have an odor at all. I am using it on a day bed with no box spring. If you plan on using it on a standard bed frame, with two rails, I recommend using a box spring. Overall, I am very satisfied with my twin mattress.

It is quite heavy however hubby managed to wrangle it on his own.Written instructions on how to open the mattress was clear and concise. This bed is extremely comfortable! I absolutely love it. I adore it! It is a mixture in between firm and soft. It is not too hard/stiff and it's not too soft. Also, I'm a female who weighs 236 pounds and it definitely does not sink in when laying or even sitting on it. My mom weighs 300 pounds and it doesn't sink for her either. You don't really feel springs underneath you. Its is bouncy but not overly bouncy. It is a well put together bed. It's the perfect hybrid mattress to be honest. The cooling gel is a great added affect. It constantly stays cool therefore you won't feel hot in the bed especially during summer nights. It's superb! Comfort rolled up in a box

I really like this Zinus Gel Hybrid 10" Mattress. This is the first mattress I have got that came in a box. We unpackaged it and rolled it out per the instructions and let it set so it could expand. It looks great and no lumps or wrinkles anywhere on it. I got this in a full size to go in my guest room. We slept on it the first night we got it and have been sleeping in the guest room since we got it. I love that this mattress is 10 inches high and makes the bed set up higher. The mattress tends to stay warmer than I prefer and would rather it stay cooler. It’s very comfortable and has just the right firmness. I like that either one of us can roll over or even get up out of bed without disturbing the other. Decent starter mattress

Got this for my sister. I removed one star because it took longer than I expected for the mattress to fluff up to its full 12" size. One side fluffed in less than 24 hours. The other took about a week, and I'm still not sure it's at its peak. Nonetheless, my sister loves this mattress. I ordered it in medium firm. The firmness is perfect for her, though I would prefer it more firm. She said that she hasn't noticed any cooling effect. It's winter here and it may be more noticeable during the summer months. She keeps it covered with a mattress cover so I'm not sure she'll be able to tell anyhow. It's not a very long-term sleeping mattress, but using it in conjunction with a box spring or a bunkie board will definitely increase its longevity. Great for value

Have had this mattress for about 6 months now. So far it’s holding up well. It is surprisingly more comfortable than I thought it would be. It’s a tad on the softer side rather than firm, but it still has excellent support. The edges are indeed less supportive than a regular mattress, as others have mentioned, but this actually doesn’t bother me that much since I don’t really sit on it. It was easy to set up and the quality of the material is really good. This is all around a great mattress especially for the money. I recommend this mattress if money is a concern. Took off one star because of the edge support situation (again, not a dealbreaker at all though).

Lifesaver!

This mattress is amazing! The whole thing arrived rolled up in a box and was so easy to get up our steep stairs. We unboxed it and it sprang to life as our daughter's new bed (she is 7 and sleeps on a full-sized mattress). The old mattress she had been on was in need of replacement, and on days when I would lay down with her it hurt my back. It was old and it was time to replace it. This mattress is so supportive and I can’t figure out how they did that because it’s also so soft and comforting. We have both fallen asleep so much faster, her on purpose, and me accidentally. I also love that it’s a soft-top, supportive mattress that does not overheat you. She sleeps longer on this mattress, and she doesn’t complain about being too warm. Perfect for a guest room

I bought two of these for twin beds in a guest room. They are surprisingly comfortable. I'm not sure how they would hold up with daily use but they seem pretty sturdy and are perfect for a guest room. The sides are a little soft because they don't have a metal frame or springs. I had never ordered a bed in a box, so it was really cool watching it "grow". We left it on the floor in a guest room overnight and it filled out quite solidly. There weren't any odd odors and the mattress fabric is quite soft and clean. I actually did recommend this mattress to a neighbor.

Wouldn't recommend

Mattress is made to sound very comfortable and looks much bigger on the photos on website. It's like sleeping on a box spring and throwing a cheap foam piece on top. Was expecting much softer and way more comfort. Also no side support. I'm not heavy at all, 130 lbs. And sides squish down when sitting on side of bed. Now the trouble of trying to return the item I'm sure will be a hassle. There's no way it won't get dirty if I were to carry outside, mind you is a very heavy mattress and try to put on top of my vehicle to bring back .....

ZINUS 12" comfort support coolonh gel hybrid mattr

I am very happy with my purchases. I ordered this in a twin size for my 91 year old mother. It is very comforting. I liked it so much I just ordered it again in King size a few days ago and it just arrived. All you have to do is carry the box to the room u want and then open it. Once you break the plastic it will begin to expand. We let it sit overnight. Right now the king size one it's still in box. Will update once our platform beframe arrives to see how it functions for us.
