Absolute MUST-HAVE

I've tried several other brands but the quality I've come to expect just isn't there. This particular quart size bag has easy open tabs at the top to make for super quick, even one-handed opening which comes in handy more often than I thought. This particular feature is usually missing from other brands and is such a let down. The thickness of the bags is also another favorite part of this bag. Even though they aren't marketed for "freezer bags", I can use them as freezer bags for about a couple of months or so and still never have any issues with freezer burn. Decent quality

The colors were also enticing at first glance. The vibrant strawberries printed onto the box made me made me excited and confident to store the various fruits and vegetables that I eat on a daily basis. I didn't like how the material of the ziploc bag was a little thin. I didn't think it would protect produce from the extreme temperatures of the refrigerator. I was intrigued by the sealing technology because it insured freshness and wasn't so easy to unseal. I also like the grip tab aspect of the bag. I love these sandwich

I love these sandwich bags. Of course, they are great for sandwiches, but great for other things, too. Seems I am always grabbing them for everything. They are great for travel. If you have a toiletry item that might leak, just grab that Ziplock bag and stash it in that before packing it. I do that all the time. Kids with sticky hands? Grab a wet washcloth out of your Ziplock bag. Problem solved. Also good for a hot day quick cool down if you are out yard sale shopping all day. You never have to worry about sealing it. They work every time and do not come apart.

Keeps your food safe over and over again

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. These are pretty decent Ziploc bags. Although I do prefer the ones with the zipper, these get the job done. I wish they were a little bit bigger, however, you can still store a good amount of snacks in them and they will keep everything fresh. You don't have to press down very hard, the seal will close as you glide your finger. I do like that these are microwave safe, just in case you need to heat something up, you don't have to worry about taking everything out and putting it on a plate. They are also durable and hold up well. I would recommend these if you want something that is going to keep your food and snacks safe and won't tear or snap out of place.

Terrible

These bags are so horrible I hope your company goes out of business... they don't stay closed and there is no reason to even use a bag.. should just throw carrots into lunch box and chase them around on the bottom.. as for anything else same thing. Everything mixes together in your stomach once you eat it. These bags have gotten thinner

I use the quart size storage bags mostly for sandwiches in my daily lunches packed for work. I made the switch from the cheaper store brands to Ziploc several years ago, specifically because I noticed a difference in quality; store brand bags allowed odors to pass through while Ziploc bags did not. My most recent purchase of Ziploc bags is disappointing, as there is a noticeable difference in the thickness of the bag material, and I believe this will affect the quality and my main reason for using these bags. I believe the snack size bags went through a similar change a while ago, which is also disappointing, but less impactful to my personal use. For my part, I typically reuse by Ziploc bags for a week before putting them in the collection at my local grocery store for recycling. I would greatly prefer that the thickness of the bags is not where we choose to conserve, or to increase profits, if that is the motive. I will try these bags out, but already anticipate the change in thickness will force me to switch to either freezer bags or non-disposable solid containers.

What Happened to the Sandwich Bags?

I just opened a fresh box of Ziploc Sandwich bags, a longtime favorite in our house up to now. These sandwich bags are noticeably different. I still have some of the old sandwich bags and the difference is striking. The new locking "zipper" strip is so much thinner and it's harder to catch without multiple tries. And really, that's the most important part of a sandwich bag. The green closure area is a much thinner material, less formidable and not as easy to work with. But that locking strip... what a letdown. I'm looking for another brand. DIsappointing.
