Ziwi Peak 400g Air Dried Cat Food Mackerel & Lamb

Both my kitties eat this food daily and they really love it! I think the fish gives it an irresistible smell that they can't resist. One of my kitties has IBD and he does very well on the whole line of Ziwi foods. He also takes a Vet prescribed herbal anti-inflammatory that allows him to eat a wider range of proteins (except chicken)....I do believe that the quality of the protein and no junk ingredients helps to reduce inflammation as well. Overall my kitties enjoy this brand of food and do well on it. Thanks Ziwi...please keep up the excellent quality of your pet foods!

My 2 Russian Blue's LOVE LOVE LOVE this particular recipe THE most out of all the 3 different brands & flavors that I am purchasing for them. Whenever one of them doesn't agree with my food pick at times, then I am ALWAYS opening a new can of Mackerel & Lamb and this ALWAYS does the trick for us all...😻🙌🏻 Highly recommend this one! Our 9yo cat, Sadie, is absolutely obsessed! We have managed to try the other flavors that this particular brand and food-form has to offer and this one by far is her favorite. Lately, she tries to paw at the bag for more and sometimes prefers it over what's usually her favorite cans!After four years of being a BARF-patty girl, it no longer agrees with our girl's tummy which has made us so worried about what could substitute or compensate those particular proteins and nutrients for our little obligate carnivore. Our house is lower-income, and like many, can't exactly afford higher name brands like this, and we honestly wouldn't go for it naturally if our girl didn't have particular needs. If one can afford it, great, but if like us, one needs to be prepared to budget and set aside the funds to do so, as well as strategize when to get it and how frequently. Overall amazing product, but make sure to be mindful of the cost!

I INVESTIGATED SOURCES OF RAW MEAT SUITABLE AND RECOMMENDED IF YOU WERE TRANSITIONING BUT THE COST FACTOR INVOLVED WAS A LITTTLE TOO COSTLY ESPECIALLY IF HE DIDN'T LIKE IT. THEN I FOUND ZIWI WET "Lamb and Mackerel" AND ZIWI DRY "Wild Pacific South Recipe" AND AFTER 2 WEEKS HE TRANSITIONED TO BOTH BEAUTIFULLY! THIS FAMILY OF CAT FOODFREED ME OF THE WORRY WAS I AIDING TO HIS HEALTH FAILURE BY FEEDING HIM FOOD CONTAINING THOSE COMMON TOXIC POISONS. SO GLAD I FOUND ZIWI AFTER MONTHS OF RESEARCH AND TRIAL & ERROR. MY CAT AT TEN YEARS OF AGE IS THRIVING AND ACTUALLY IS MORE RELAXED AND SWEETER, AS IF THAT COULD ACTUALLY BE POSSIBLE.KUDOS TO THIS COMPANY AND A PERFECT 10 STARS FOR MY RESULTS USING THIS FOOD DAILY! NOTE: I do use a steamed kibble from Ziwi but that is not available on chewy with the wet food.

This product is really great, it's clear no cheap fillers were used. It supports digestion, and the high protein content is a big win. My cat's shedding has reduced and overall it seems nutrient dense. I love the 10% superfood boost and the fact that it's grain-free and low carb. It even promotes healthy weight, which is a bonus. The ingredients are ethical and sustainable, and it's suitable for all life stages. A genuinely excellent product!

I buy the larger cans, and one lasts 2 1/2 days, blended with the dried Mackerel Lamb or just Lamb. I add a tiny splash of water and let it sit for a minute to slightly soften the dried bits. I don’t mind paying more knowing that she’s getting quality ingredients, and that the animals who became food had a better quality of life than factory farmed misery meat. Cats are carnivores but I feel better knowing the animals got to live life with some sunshine and grass, because every animal deserves that, even ones used for a food source.
