Another great bait bait from Zman. I like to use the 3" on a 10th oz finesse bulletz during those tough bite winter months. My favorite color is baby bass. I usually slay them while everyone else is getting nothing. These little baits have great tight action. Of course, being Elaztech, they are also tough. I was out one day and found a spot where the fish were stacked. I caught around 20 fish in about an hour and a half. Most were right around 1 lb a few of them were close to, and maybe a little over 2. Did that all on 1 bait. The bait was also still good to go for my next outing, where I caught a few more fish on it. The bait eventually lost its tail somehow. I think a turtle may have bit it off. Well worth picking these up.

Iāve been using Zman Slim Swimz for the past 5 years. They are, hands down, the single best multi species bait there is out there. If I could only keep one lure in my box, the Zman Slim Swimz would be the bait of choice. From the salt water down in Florida to the Great Lakes in Michigan, I have caught every species of fish available. Sea Trout, Sea Bass, Grouper, Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Blue Gill, it doesnāt matter. This bait catches them all. The durability is also incredible! In the gulf, Iād have to change my gulp every 3rd or 4th fish. With Zman, Iāve literally caught over 30 fish on one Slim Swimz. They are just awesome! Do yourself a favor and load up on Zman!

Went fishing in wisconsin under a huge bridge yesterday. It had at least 80 concrete pilings. It was hot and sunny, but nice and cool under the bridge. I had 5 rods rigged with different reliable baits. I started off with 2 1/2" Bad Shad Slim Swimz with 1/10th finesse jig head. Had my limit of crappie in 2 1/2 hours. All between 11 to 12 1/2 inches. Fish this bait with a slow steady retrieve. The paddle tail thumps no matter how slow you reel it. I have been crappie fishing with artificials for more than 50 years. I looked at the reviews than went into the store and made a purchase for a pack of Zman Slim Swimz Midnight Oil i matched it with Jarvis Walker 6lb mono in green colourI travelled to my local brackish lake 35km's upstream of the ocean, First cast and i was on baby!!! I thought this cannot be so... Than i thought it was a mullet but as the fish cameup on the little sandy beach to my surprise it was a 50cm flatheadAnd i'm not a lures guy i prefer bait, the jighead i used was 1/20ozNow looking to expand and try other Zman soft plastics
Have used these to replace the plastic on the z man flashback mini chatter bait and as a stand alone swimbait ona jig head. On the chatter bait it works great and Iāve caught several fish including one of the better smallmouth Iāve gotten recently. As a swimbait it swims fine just havenāt had much success with it. My only minor gripes are, elaztech is great stuff love the toughness flexibility etc, but itās not compatible with the jig heads I have a Ton of! So hard to get them to set right on the bait holder.

This little lure has become my shallow water favourite, Iāve caught Flatties, Bream, Trevorās and more pike then I can use for livies or big dead baits when I found a school. Caught more fish on the 2.5inch then on the 3inch. 1/6 or a 1/8 2 or 1 TT Head locks jig head fishes the best. This is my most productive colour for clear skies and clear water.

On a recent trip to Sunset country Ontario were I normally use leeches for walleye and northern pike. I decided to try the 3" Z Mann Slim Swim on a jig instead of leeches and caught more and bigger walleyes then I normally catch on this trip. In fact my fishing partner who in 20 years of fishing this area has never used any other bait other than a lead head jig and a leech asked me to rig up a Slim Swim for him to use and He had the same results as me.
