Zojirushi 12-Ounce Stainless Mug in Matte Gold - Compact and Durable

This is my third time buying this from this store (first one, I left in a taxi, the second one I gave to my brother, and this one is for me). The quality is top-notch, and not exaggerating, but when I put ice cubes inside and leave it at the car on a hot day, they still haven't melted the following day. My brother also complains that the almost boiling coffee he puts inside in the morning still burns his tongue in the afternoon. I've had all sorts of mugs/flasks over the years (klean kanteen, aqua flask, hydro flask), but I think Zojirushi and Coleman are the ones to beat when it comes to temperature retention.

Cancer causing materials?

I bought a SM-SR36E-NM 12 0z bottle and like it - only to have found later that that the packaging that came with it had all kind of Cancer Warnings in at least a couple of languages. Are these mugs BCP free and that they are free of any kind of cancer causing materials? Would have been a great product but ….

Disapointed

I ordered the wrong size but it took so long to get here that I just kept it. After 2 weeks the coating began chipping on the bottom edges. The top is stained already despite my scubing it after each use.I gave it two stars instead of 1 because I do like the taste of the coffe with the inner coating and it keeps the coffee hot amd doesn't spill or leak. Still, not worth the money by any stretch.

Great

These mugs are SO much better than Yeti, or any other brand. Keeps coffee hotter longer and 2 days later I still have frozen ice in it. I have tall ones for iced drinks and this shorter one for coffee. Some I’ve had for over 2 years still look like they came off the assembly line. Nice colors too.

Hot or Cold…Will never let you down!

This is my second mug I’ve bought. I love the first one so much (and still use it) and I’ve used it for years but I wanted a smaller one for when I take coffee of hot chocolate in the car. I love this brand and will recommend it everyone!

My favorite bottle

I love this water bottle. I have had a few different premium water bottles but they were either annoyingly bulky, tasted funny, or, in one case, loud when you tipped the bottle to chug water.This bottle is small, light weight, and the water does not have any metal taste to it. I actually wish I bought the 20oz size vs the 16 because I was expecting something larger

Performs well, but not for what I need

I used this bottle for almost a month before I wrote my review. My main purpose for getting this was to hydrate on cold water during workouts and tennis. The bottle was excellent at maintaining the ice, but for my use had a few drawbacks. I need something larger. I always bring a larger cooler with me, but I was constantly refilling the bottle. I like a water bottle with some kind of a handle - I’m often carrying a lot of things, and yes, I know I can lock it and throw it in my bag, but I don’t need those any heavier. A little handle or hole to put my finger through would be good. The biggest problem for me was the mouth hole - it kept the ice in, since the hole is pretty small, but I need to chug some water. Retired Grandma

This is my go to mug. The ice stays all day and the water is cold into the second or third day. It is much better than other mugs I have had that say they keep your beverage hot or cold and they work that good. These mugs do what they say. Very happy with these mugs. Would get another one as needed.
