I had the identical knife for 40 years and thought that it was time for a new one. This is the best Knife. Fits my hand perfectly. Cuts great every time. I had it professionally sharpened every few years and it remained perfect for all these years. I would never buy any other knife

Buying items labeled "visual imperfections" allowed me to get more, and honestly, I don't see it. I'm not a professional, but do like to cook and these are great knives!

The knife works well especially when bought at a reduced price
I wanted an all-around knife that could temporarily replace all my other Zwilling J.A. Henckels knives while they were sent away to be sharpened. I didn't need another of this quality, but because it had a minor imperfection, the price was as low as very inferior models. I love this knife just like my others, feels solid and secure in my hand and cut's like a breeze. The look has changed a little over fifteen years, but the quality hasn't. I am a customer for life.

Due to design feels light in the hand in spite of adequate weight. Looks and feels like a professional knife that would cost significantly more.
We didn't realize how terrible our knives were until we bought this one. Meal prep is so much better and my partner cannot get over how much faster he can chop onions. It's a great knife - super happy with it. We got it on sale so that was a bonus.
