Practical containers.

I use these containers all the time. I prefer the containers to the bags anytime. The bags don't wash up very well in my opinion. I find the containers keep my vegetables and berries fresh longer than in store bought containers. They're great for storing fresh dates, it prevents the dates from drying up so quickly. I also use them for storing nuts, dried cranberries, raisens and so on.

The zwilling Vacuum containers are the best.

I've updated my kitchen w Zwilling Vacuum glass containers. I love them. My food lasts longer and they stack. I use these plastic ones for organizing my cabinets which also keep my cooking items fresh. It's a win win win.

Tiny pieces....

I LOVE the idea of this product and on most days I LOVE this product.Originally I bought the glass kit and a lot of bags. I find that I use the containers more than the bags, so lesson learned. I was hoping to use the bags for fresh herbs, etc, but the vacuum ruins the tender herbs.The first time I used the large glass container, I broke it. It is heavy and my one hand wasn't enough. I went ahead and ordered the plastic set.The 4th time I used the plastic large container, the lid broke. I would like to purchase a new lid, however, they do not sell them separetely.I find keeping up with the gray little stopper thingies, is tricky. This container does exactly what it was meant to do. Food stays fresher so much longer, easy to clean, quick and easy to use. I will definitely be purchasing more different sizes.

I originally bought one of the Fresh & Save starter sets at a Costco special event, and then wanted another of these large plastic vacuum boxes, which I purchased online along with a glass gratin dish. I use the two large plastic boxes to store my spinach/spring mix in. I am very pleased that the spinach or spring mix keeps very nicely until I finish the whole 16-ounces without having to throw any away! I will say that one of the lids cracked, and I will contact Zwilling to see about a replacement. After washing the lids I am careful how I let them dry, so the rubber seal does not lean against anything.

Adding a light weight, durable, reusable, BPA free plastic container to the fresh and save system is a fantastic addition and alternative to the glass.A great size and shape for full dishes, salads and fresh fruits. I like to take this one to work with me- easy to transport- microwave ready . Easy to clean and stain resistant.
