This is a gorgeous set of silverware that looks great in any setting. It has a nice, heavyweight feel without being too heavy like many forged sets are... Having said that - they are in NO WAY dishwasher safe. Using Cascade/Finish in a modern dishwasher left them significantly spotted, and worse - PITTED on a few of the pieces. NOT what I would expect from this level of flatware. I didn't have pits on my prior Walmart set after 6 years of regular use in the dishwasher. Disappointing - esp. since I am left to hand wash my new flatware...

My old diet was 25 years old and it was time to replace it. I wanted a set that was more minimalist but high quality and good weight. I also wanted a set that didn’t break the wallet. I saw all the positive reviews and after seeing they were 18/20 Stainless Steel, by a very trusted company (I have a complete set of Four Star kitchen knives and tools). I bought them. The shape of each is lovely. The weight is perfect. They are solid and comfortable. I love the Hostess set that is included too! It will go well for every day, for my nice, casual stoneware and even my china. I am very pleased.

We had been looking for new flatware for quite almost 12 years. The set we were using was at least 35 years old. We wanted top quality and something new and stylish! Saw this set on line at Macy's we were immediately drawn to it. I was familiar with the brand, as all my knifes are Henckels, so I knew these were not going to be cheap but they’d be worth it. We’ve been using them for a month and I know it sounds crazy but when we use them it feels like we are eating at some high class restaurant. The set is beautiful in it’s simplicity. The finish almost sparkles. I have had two dinner parties and a week of family visiting everyone has made a comment. They check off all the boxes. They’re perfect and just what we needed for a classy, high quality but practical upgrade.

Nice solid silverware set. The weight of the pieces makes them feel like high quality items and they do not bend and have held up nicely through many washes so far. Like another review I read here, I did receive one spoon with a significant scratch on it but did not want to return the whole set over that one piece. Perhaps I'll try and send it in for a replacement or I wouldn't be surprised if someone from customer service testing this will reach out to me about what to do to get a replacement sent to me (because I have found their customer service to be very responsive and helpful). Overall, good set, good price, good quality. Highly recommend.
I’ve been searching for a nice but reasonably priced flatware set to replace my old mismatched set. I purchased it at Macy’s online when they went on sale and I love it! The flatware is perfect size and weight. They’re awesome for everyday use and even for special occasions. My only complaint is that I received the set with a few damages: one teaspoon has scratches on the inside of the spoon part and four dinner spoons have strange rough edges around the spoon portion. The rough edges are probably a defect in the manufacturing. I’m just worried about it being too rough to eat with and possible rusting. I don’t want to exchange the entire set for 5 spoons… who knows what the next set will look like. I’m hoping to send in the 5 spoons and get replacements. I recently moved into a new apartment and have been using plastic utensils for awhile. I wanted my next purchase of flatware to be worth it. I purchased this set right before Thanksgiving that I was hosting. I received a lot of compliments. This flatware is light but sturdy. If you do not dry properly it will leave water stains that can easily be wiped off. The handles are smaller than usual, so you have to be careful using a dishwasher. I, personally, had no problem washing in the dishwasher my first use. The serving utensils are smaller than I wanted, but they will be put to use. I am very satisfied with my purchase!

We received this same flatware set as a wedding gift 12 years ago. The set has stood the test of time and is in great shape. Over the years several pieces have gone missing. I was so pleased with this flatware that I ordered another set to replace what was lost and add to our collection. It’s beautiful, timeless, and well-made. The only con I can think of is that the ends of the handles are just small enough to slip through and get stuck in the silverware holder of our dishwasher. We just place everything with the handles up to prevent this from happening, and they still come out clean.
