I've found this to be more fiddly that anticipated and difficult to use as the piece your slicing doesn't stay upright as you are slicing. Once you get piece 'stable' for slicing it does slice well.

Zyliss 4 in 1 Slicer was a gift to a friend. I use the Zyliss Mandolin which I think is wonderful and easy to use and clean! I hope my friend is also enthusiastic about the 4 in 1 Slicer.

Zyliss 4 in 1 Slicer was a gift to a friend. I use the Zyliss Mandolin which I think is wonderful and easy to use and clean! I hope my friend is also enthusiastic about the 4 in 1 Slicer.
We bought this to replace one of same brand that had served well for several years until one grater broke and the nonslip feet had worn out. This later version has angled cutting blades that are very sharp. The food gripper is also an improvement because it gives better control allowing reduced waste and better protection from the blades.
Good for slicing but not good for grating. It’s a clunky design and you can’t secure things properly to grate. I wouldn’t recommend it.
I was excepting more from this, I always end up with a good size piece of cheese that I have to grate by hand

Easy to grate carrot, cheese, ginger.Haven't tried cabbage for coleslaw yet, but might be good if making a mountain of it for a crowd.Bought at 30% off, so good value.
I got this a few months ago and have only just used it. Unfortunately I won’t be using it again, it is now in the bin. The area you place the blade you have chosen did not clip in place securely as a result the potatoes I was trying to slice were badly sliced, the finger guard kept coming off and the blade section would not stay where it should have.
I've wanted one of these for years and after cooking two meals a day every single day for five COVID months I decided I deserved it. Great price. A little clunky to use at first but you eventually get the hang of it. And sharp! Don't let the kids near it, unless you enjoy picking up fingers and going emergency. ; )
Great little slicer/grater. Just right for homemade coleslaw and salads
