Our 12 month old Lab X has anxiety and doesn't deal well with the outside world and any new situations or unfamiliar people & dogs. This made training difficult as he would have a melt down every time we took him outside the house. After trying quite a few different products, I can say that this product has helped immensely as he is a much calmer dog. He just passed his level 3 Dog obedience class where he is surrounded by lots of people & strange dogs. Our boy is starting to enjoy life now.

I ordered these after reading reviews and also being endorsed by Vets as an initial help towards relieving Separation Anxiety. We are about 2 weeks in and I'm not sure yet whether they are really helping. But I think I will keep using them for a few months to really see if they help. My dog is pretty calm normally, she just suffers from SA. So as a tool to help with training, it's probably a good thing!

This product has changed my cats life. He is a very large, very sensitive Maine Coon who suffers with FLUTD. Highly recommend giving it a try. If I run out George-Schrodinger will let me know usually by vocalising loudly then urinating on one of the dog beds, as soon as we start adding it to his food again he goes back to being his normal beautiful self and harmony returns to our 4 cat 2 dog home. I don't know if this will work as well for every every cat or dog as it has for our George but I do know that it is worth a try, it is affordable and safe when compared to alternatives.

Puss pulled her own fur out for months. Pain treatment and zylkene have her back to normal. The 75mg is not strong enough so I mix the whole 225mg cap in a small amount of milk(2 tblspns or so) and there are 2 doses ready. I freeze the other and so small an amount thaws in half an hour.
I highly recommend this Supplement Zylkene 225mg at this strength in advance for anxious Cats that are coming to stay in my cattery. If an owner tells me they have a Scaredy Cat or a cat that misbehaves when away from home... I advise them to buy Zylkene 225mg & start their cat on it around 2 weeks prior to the boarding date. We then continue to give it to them during their stay and it really makes a difference to the stressed cats!!!
These capsules do work but don't expect miracles. We are using them to help with supporting our Groodle to get over her anxiety in the car. It just takes the edge off. You still need to use positive reenforcement. It doesn't sedate or anything like that. A bonus is that if she has one with her dinner she sleeps well through the night.
My stressed kitty was super stressed and this has no side effects (as advertised) so it's perfect for kitty on a long term basis. Have almost finished the bottle and kitty is acting normal now. Meowing like a kitty should be instead of trembling. Purring and playing. Definitely buying it again.
Not sure this product really makes a difference. We have ordered it 3 times. For large dogs, you need to take 2 tablets a day, for a few days before an event, we found this didn't work - further research said it takes a few weeks to start making a difference, which means the bottle only lasts 2 weeks - If you are looking at long term use that makes it $160 a month! Honestly, it didn't take the edge off our 35kg German Shepherd
My 12 year old big boy stopped using his litter tray so after checking that there was nothing physically wrong our vet suggested using different litter and/or Zylkene. Changing the litter brand didn't have any effect but the Zylkene has given me hope together with puppy training pads which he is happy to use. However, it's taken 2 months to see positive results (eg not urinating on the carpet). He weighs in at just over 10 kgs so the 225 mg seems to be just right.
My puppy lost his mama too early...he was so anxious and stressed he would not eat, did not want to be around humans, just wanted to eat rocks and dirt. Zylkene has changed him alot- he now eats real food, sleeps well, wants to play and be with us, he is more atttentive and a much happier puppy
