I wish the IKEA Almaren aerator is of standard sizes for North America, because none of the after-market 360 Degree Rotate Faucet Nozzle Sprayer Head Water fits on this IKEA faucet. Unless IKEA has their own brand that fits; and if it does, it's not marketed/promoted prominently by the kitchen faucet area.

Excellent price point, but, I am disappointed because the product design lacks the ability for repair. This is the fourth faucet I purchase, because I am a landlord. Albeit they look very good and the stainless steel quality is excellent, the hoses are of questionable quality. It is my opinion that because the hoses are encased with a cloth mesh, the durability is severely compromised. Moreover, my advice to buyers of this faucet is, DO NOT INSTALL THE INCLUDED WEIGHT DEVICE! Unfortunately, the weight causes the hose to stretch and subsequent hairline cracks appear just after a 1 year mark, causing leaks.Sadly, I have had to throw away perfectly conditionedÄLMAREN faucets because these hoses cannot be replaced. In a world of sustainability, IKEA is missing the ... After having severe issues with supply, communication, management, and waiting almost 2 months to install the countertop on my new kitchen I encountered another problem. The international organization ikea has faucets with special fittings like this one 9/16. I think that this is inaceptable that they don’t provide an adapter for American regular size of supply line which is 3/8 or 1/2. With this renovation I leave ikea just to buy regular chairs and stands due to their poor management on selling products without proper facilities to install. Lastly, I should not expend days trying to dirige it out how to install the faucet and buy 4 adapters (60$) to install this faucet. Definitely not a future vision statement for international bussines.

I love the look and finish of this tap. There are 2 small issues. Firstly, if you have been running full hot water then want to use the pull-out part, the piece you need to grab is too hot to touch - the work around is to pull it out before it gets too hot and then hold the actual hose part. The second issue is that because of its water saving feature, the nozzle is quite small to increase water pressure. This in turn causes the water to splatter upwards when it hits whatever is under it. Takes a bit of getting used to.
Very Well Designed for Looks, Function and Quality !!!!!Like the Red and Blue Lines for Water Temperature.Like the Vertical Start Position and Pull Forward Only design versus the competition that swing both forward and backward to control water temperature.Very Smooth Lever Operation for Temperature and Water Flow.Pull Out Hose Works Well.Like how the Pull Out Hose has a slight friction fit to hold it in place when not using it.Faucet Swings Side to Side Very Smoothly. Was Easy to Install.Price is Very Good compared to others in the marketplace and even Better On Sale.
If IKEA had good customer service I would add some stars because it would resolve my issue without wastefully needing to buy an entire new faucet set. I talked on the ‘live chat’ and via phone. Somehow my receipt isn’t in the system so I can’t reference it even though all my other receipts from 2019 are, and the phone chat demands I need the receipt # even though this thing has a 10 year warranty (doubt it’s even been on market for 10 years). I would even just pay to buy a new hose but doesn’t seem to be an option.
Since my last review was never posted I'll do this again. As with others here, this began leaking from the handle. I thought maybe a gasket could be replaced, but nothing fixed it. I tried to take it back, but it had been just over a year. The employee said no returns for an opened product after 6 months or one year if unopened. So, I was stuck with it and all help by phone to get the 10 year warranty was useless. I was sent to an install company, and to 2 different people, and got nowhere in an online chat help-session. So, I am out the 130-ish I paid and had to go buy another faucet from elsewhere to fix the constant dripping from the handle.
Installed one of these because it looks great and is exactly what I want in a kitchen faucet. But about a year later, the hose for the pull-out sprung a leak! Ikea doesn't offer replacement parts, sadly. Too bad because I really liked this faucet (for a while).
Purchased this tap for a new kitchen setup, in less than 12 months it started leaking badly out of the mixer cartridge. After a lot of back and forth IKEA replaced it with a whole new tap (as they don’t offer cartridge replacements). Now 7 months later the new tap is leaking even worse and has damaged our timber bench top. After some research I’ve found a lot of others have had a similar issue - seriously avoid it!
I moved into a home with this faucet, and am not sure how old it is. Not long after moving in, the hose began leaking water under my sink; luckily there was no permanent damage, but it could have been a real issue. The hose does not seem to be replaceable, so we will be replacing the entire faucet. Multiple other reviewers have had this same problem.I also do not like that the pull-down spout does not have a sprayer in it; considering the hose causes so many problems, you have to wonder why even include it if you're not going to put a sprayer in the head.
