The Surecatch Wire Trace features 7 strands of nylon-coated, stainless steel wire. The smooth nylon coating seals out the water to improve the lifespan of the line, and provides additional abrasion-resistance for the extra sharp teeth this wire leader will encounter in the ocean. It is soft and flexible, which makes for easy handling for the angler, but more importantly, it is super-strong so can be used for trolling or when fishing with either live or dead baits. It can also be used to prepare rigs or leaders if you dont want to wind the entire length onto your reel.
