15.4" Swivel Portable DVD Player

I am satisfied with the size of the monitor, but I thought the format of the text was very dated. My husband and I watched a DVD yesterday laying side by side on the bed, but it was very difficult for the screen to be in a position where both people had a good view - my view was showing "shadowed" images. I am disappointed, especially with what I paid for it. It's more suitable for one-person viewing.

Ok, nothing special. The size of the screen is good, but not of great quality. Overall this machine is a bit on the cheaply-made side. Overpriced for what it is. Probably worth no more than 50$ in real life, and then that's too expensive for this bit of junk: but it does work. The laser motor gets noisy as the DVD is playing, spoiling the movie. And probably too big to take on a car journey. Connection to a TV is old fashioned plug-ins, and the audio doesn't work on my TV, so have to listen through the unit, which is of low quality sound. Too pricey for what it is.

Very happy with this product. Screen size is best I have seen available on this product. Sound also is best in quality and volume , though not overly loud, is sufficient for personal use, and much better than others tried out, and of friends with similar but smaller screens viewed. Till anything offering better is available, it will be a well used item in my household.

A Real Gem

I love Lennox Portable dvd players.. This is the 2nd one I have purchased... I bought this for the bigger screen & will use the older model as a dedicated audio player... I love the simplicity of the controls and that Lennox is a region free player & one of the main reasons I love this brand. The sound and picture is greatly improved & can be refined & altered through the setup feature.. Greatly improved design from the earlier model. I like the simple controls and the portability and of course this 15.4 inch screen is a real bonus. I am completely satisfied with the item and the price is fantastic. Thank you.

Good unit for its price

Great service and very quick delivery. The unit is good with a big screen and good sound. Easy to use controls. The only downfall is you need to adjust the screen position carefully so you get the full picture without black spots that you get if you don't look directly at the screen. If you look at it from an angle the picture is very hard to see. Otherwise, it suits our needs.

Great, but...

Great player, but it does act up a lot during play. I can watching a DVD it's playing fine then suddenly it stops working skips sections, or goes back to the main menu. I know it's not my DVDs they play perfectly on my other players it's just this one. Apart from that it has a great sized screen and good sound quality. Has all the features you'd want in a DVD player, just had that one annoying issue

Parcel arrived quickly. It was a bit knocked around, was punctured in a couple of places and it looked like it had been opened or maybe inspected. I've used the player once so far and it seems ok despite its' journey. It's easy to use.

I watched a DVD that I borrowed from the library

So far we are very pleased with the DVD Player. Only time will tell whether it lives up to all. It is simple to use and our step daughter who has dementia can see it clearly So all good.

The only complaint I have to make is that it came in its original box... We bought two and the second was in a very dilapidated box that had been through the mill. I assume that was the postal service. The inner sleeve, which is very intriguing was in perfect order as was the rest of the contents.

The "grown up" of portable DVD players!

It has a very big screen! I ordered this online and was not expecting it to be quite so large but that is not really an issue. You can certainly see what is happening on the screen! Picture quality is good but sound is not as clear as some of my smaller portable players. Functions work well and battery seems to last a while which is great considering the size of the player itself.

They won't last forever, but at the price, they're worth it.

I've owned five of these over the years. Their biggest fault is that the disc drive usually ends up y becoming so noisy it sounds like a mini pneumatic drill, though one or two just ended up freezing up and refusing to play anything. But this was usually after a LOT of work and many hundreds of hours. The image quality isn't terrific, and the sound is pretty thin, but there's nothing else out there even close at that size and at that price point. I'll buy another one when this latest one eventually croaks. At this price it's faults are forgivable.
